George R. Peters
, 39, of Pottsville passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.

Born in Pottsville on January 23, 1981, he was the son of Barbara (Stiltner) Peters.

George attended services with his mother at Faith Assembly of God, Cressona. He was an avid gamer, enjoyed karaoke and was known for his selfless nature and kind heart.

He attained his Associate Degree in Network Administration and Security and graduated Valedictorian of his class at McCann School of Business & Technology.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Don Henry Peters, husband of Doren, their four daughters and Julia, wife of Adam Plesnarski. He will be greatly missed by his Aunt Mary, Uncle Ed, Cousins Ronald, Richard, Raymond, Robin and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St. from 1PM until 3PM. A private service will follow at the behest of the family.

Ronald Edgar Klinger
, 67 of Pine Grove, passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

Born on May 17, 1953, in Pottsville, he was a son of Corrine Aungst Klinger of Pine Grove and the late John R. Klinger, Sr.

Ronald was self employed as a Plumbing and heating technician.

He was a member of Outwood Lutheran Church Pine Grove and a 1971 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.

Ron was a member of the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge #409 F. & A. M.. and was a lifetime member of the Oak Grove Sportsman Club, the NRA, the Pine Grove Fish & Game and the Hickory Mountain Hunting Club. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, being active in his community, hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 29 years, Mary "Peg" Emerich Klinger, a son, Jesse Rhen and his partner, Joy Gilbreath of Annville; two Grandchildren Jaxon Rhen and Irelynn Rhen; three Brothers, Rodney & wife Darlene Klinger of Rock Hill S. Carolina, John, and wife Krista Klinger of Pine Grove and Jeffrey & wife Lisa Klinger of West Chester, Pa.

There will be a viewing on Sunday, October 18, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove and masks will be required to enter the Funeral Home for the viewing. Services will be at the convenience of the family with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating.

The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pine Grove Area Educational Foundation P. O. Box 98 Pine Grove, PA 17963, in his memory.

Kyle R. Gronski
, 37, of Frackville, formerly of Mill Creek Manor died Tuesday October 13, 2020 as a result of an ATV accident in Butler Township.

Born in Carlisle, November 7, 1982, He was the son of Robert W. and Janet F. Menchey Gronski of Mill Creek Manor.

A 2002 Graduate of Pottsville High School Kyle drove truck for Dean Foods, Schuylkill Haven, and was an avid outdoorsman.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his son Korbin Gronski, Sister Elyse Beyer and her husband Jacob of Bernville: Aunts and Uncles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:30 PM Monday October 19, 2020 from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St. St. Clair. The Rev. William Glosser will be officiating. . Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM Monday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.

Robert H. Price
, 78, of Ashland, passed away with his family by his side at his residence on Monday Oct. 12, 2020.

Born in Frackville, December 16, 1941, he was a son of the late Harry Sr., and Elizabeth Dean Price.

Robert worked as a laborer at the former Frackville Block and Supply Company and last worked as a machine operator for Renier films, Auburn.

He enjoyed the outdoors and having his family close by. He was a member of the Gordon Fire Company.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Georgine F. Eckert Price; a sister; Barbara Hoffman; an Infant brother and brothers Harry and Thomas Price.

Robert is survived by two daughters; Deanna White and LouAnne Hahn, both of Ashland; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a sister; Sadie Wetzel, Pottsville; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, with Rev. Dennis Snyder as celebrant. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Englewood/Frackville.

Mr. Daniel L. "Dan" DiGiannantoni, age 96, of State College and formerly of Mahanoy City, died Wednesday night at Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center in Montoursville. 

Born in Mahanoy City he was the son of the late Pasquale and Rose (Lattanzi) DiGiannantoni. He was a 1941 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and a graduate of Williamsport Technical Institute in 1948. An Army veteran of World War II he landed on the beaches of Normandy the day after D Day and served with 148th Combat BN building bridges throughout Europe. He worked as a Mechanical Designer for the Applied Research Lab at Penn State University. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in State College. 

Preceding him in death were a brother William "Digi" DiGiannantoni, and sisters Mary Shovlin and Margaret Ivey. 

Survivors include a brother Herman of Columbus Ohio as well as nieces and nephews. 

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. William Linkchorst on Wednesday morning at 11:30 AM from St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mahanoy Township. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning beginning at 10:30 AM. All attending must wear their mask.

Mary V. Skosnick, age 77, of St. Clair, PA passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, October 15th, 2020 at her home.

Born in Saint Clair, PA on January 19, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Lucas) Summers.

Mary was a graduate of Saint Clair High School, Class of 1962. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Saint Clair, where she volunteered with the pierogie sale. Mary was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and the former St. Casimir 's Church in Saint Clair. She enjoyed keeping her home and spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Thomas Andrew Skosnick on May 5, 1998 and a sister Margaret Small.

Mary is survived by her children: Lori Schuster and her husband Charles, Michael Skosnick and his wife Donna Langton, and Tricia Moyer and her husband David; grandchildren: Caroline, Charlie, Corey, Brian and his wife Ellen, Jordan, Megan, and Amanda; and a brother Joseph Summers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in St. Clair at 10:30AM on Saturday, October 24th, with Msgn William Glosser officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday morning from 8-10AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon.

Interment will be held in the St. Casimir's Cemetery Port Carbon, PA.

Theresa A. Robbins
, 73, a former resident of Frackville, recently a guest of the Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Shenandoah, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, October 15th, 2020 at the Hazleton Campus of the Lehigh Valley Hospital.

She was born in Shenandoah on June 12, 1947, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna (Kase) Miller. She attended Ringtown area schools, and last worked as a waitress at the Mt. City Diner in Frackville, where she met and lived in Frackville with her husband, Francis "Butchie" Robbins, who preceded her in death.

She always looked forward to activities such as bingo, word puzzles, listening to music, church services and bible class. Theresa loved the outdoors and always looked forward to spending time at home with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Ben Miller, and by sisters, Shirley Miller, Annie Ennis and Mary Sherman.

She is survived by brothers Gene Miller and his wife, Gayle, of Ringtown; Richard Miller, Ringtown; John Miller and his wife Ann, of Shenandoah; Raymond Miller and his wife Dolores, of Mahanoy City, and by sisters Bonnie Miller of Ringtown and Lois, wife of Wilson Bachert, of Ringtown. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Tuesday, October 20th from 9-11 AM, at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, officiated by Rev. Craig Zimmerman. Theresa will be laid to rest at a later date.

Theresa's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Ridgeview Healthcare for their love and care that they provided for the last nine years. Theresa truly loved everyone there.
