William C. (Bill) Smith, 69, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, September 29th, at his residence.
Bill was born in Pottsville, PA on July 10, 1951, a son of the late Florence E. (Mattern) and William H. Smith, Jr. He was the widower of Virginia L. (Ahrensfield) Smith. Virginia passed away in July of this year. Bill graduated from Schuylkill Haven High School in 1969 and went on to Vocational Technical School and became a Machinist. He worked for Carpenter, in Reading and also did Auto Repair at Werner's Auto Body in Schuylkill Haven.
William is survived by two sons Dean William, husband of Margaret Smith, of Middletown; Corey Lee, husband of Megan Smith, of Orwigsburg; Grandson Garrett Smith. Bill is also survived by his sister, Jean Zimmerman and brother, Ronald F. Smith, husband of Cheryl.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 8th at Hamilton - Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Michael Petrusky officiating. Memorial Gathering from 1:00 PM until time of service.
Logan Aaron Mitchell, 18, of Williamstown, passed away early Tuesday, September 29, 2020 as the result from injuries sustained in a tragic house fire.
Born in Lebanon, October 16, 2001, a son of Charles A. Mitchell, Gettysburg and Yvette Underkoffler Pfeffer, Williamstown.
Logan was currently a senior at Williams Valley High School studying at Yellow Breeches Educational Center, Harrisburg.
Logan was the kindest, caring, most respectful, joyful and loving person to be around. He always filled his surroundings with his playful, joking and loving manner. Logan was aspiring to be an artist, making his own beats and music in his little studio in his bedroom. He enjoyed spending his time hanging out with his friends and playing video games.
He was preceded by maternal grandparents, Ronald "Ash" and Diane Underkoffler.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his siblings, Jenna Bender (Nick), Williamstown; Austin Pfeffer, Williamstown; Jamie Underkoffler, Tower City; Cayden Mitchell, Lebanon, Kissiah Mitchell, Philadelphia, Jenessa Mitchell, Campbeltown, Arisa Mitchell, Hanover; Paternal Grandmother, Muriel Mitchell, Philadelphia; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including McKenzie, McKayla, Kaleb and Kole Bender and Jaden Underkoffler.
A Celebration of Logan's life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th at 8pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8pm at the chapel. Please follow CDC guidelines during the visitation and service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc, 644 E. Grand Avenue, Tower City PA 17980 to help with expenses. Born in Wilmington,De. Feb.15,1924 the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary
(Legejko) Poswinski. Preceding her in death was her husband Sgt. David Hicks in 1998 and daughters Mary Lou Russell and Cheryl Ann Hicks.

Surviving are a son David, husband of Marie Hicks, Ashland and Rosemarie Earl of New Jersey. Son-in-law Michael Russell, New Jersey. Grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.
Interment and services will be scheduled at Arlington National Cemetery.

Mark R. Minchoff, 62, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday, September 30th, at at his residence.
Mark was born in Pottsville, on May 30, 1958, a son of the late Marilyn (Phillips) and Carl Minchoff.
He was the husband of Margaret T. “Marge” Minchoff. He was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville, . Mark was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was Heavy Equipment operator at Muschlitz Excavating Co. Mark was a member of the Mechanicsville Fish & Game. He was an avid hunter, fisherman & trapper.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Maureen Kalymun and a brother Carl Minchoff Jr. Mark is survived by his wife “Marge”, a son, Mark Anthony Minchoff, a step son, Christopher, husband of Mary Tice . He is also survived by a sister, Nanette Leganza and two brothers, Tony Minchoff and Chris Minchoff.
At the request of the family all Services are private at the convenience of family.
