Loriann M. Miller, 48, of Port Carbon, passed away Friday while at Broad Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.
Born Nov. 3, 1971, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Rosemarie R. Miller.
Loriann was a 1990 graduate of Pottsville Area High School.
She was a member of Bible Tabernacle Church, Schuylkill Haven.
In addition to her parents, Loriann was preceded in death by her aunt, Barbara Fisher.
She is survived by her sister, Esther Zelwalk, wife of David, of Port Carbon, and her sister, Rebecca Demitro, wife of David, of Ontario, Canada. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces, Barb, wife of Tony, David "DJ," husband to Jenny, Justice, Jade, Zach and Jimmy; great-niece, Scarlett; her aunt, Shirley Ritkzo; uncle, Raymond Hoppes.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of services. Joseph Stencovage, 91, of Saint Clair, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
Born May 11, 1929, in Eagle Hill, he was a son of the late Jory and Marya (Horvath) Stankowicz.
He attended Blythe Township High School, graduated from Saint Clair High School and Wilkes College.
Joseph served in the Army during the Korean War and was a Purple Heart recipient.
He was a designer, retiring after 35 years at PennDOT, working in Allentown.
He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Saint Clair, life member Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 655, life member Disabled American Veterans Marne Chapter 21, Frackville American Legion Post 298, life member Frackville Elks Lodge 1533, Elks Horseshoe Champ, life member Saint Clair Fish and Game Association, member of the Saint Clair Old-Timers Baseball Association, Shenandoah Field and Stream, 2014 Cheripa Xmas Beer Pong Champ, Retired Public Employees of PA AFSCME Chapter 13 and past president Saint Clair Lions Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine siblings, Michael, Peter, Stephen, George, John and Charles, a sister, Mary Twardzik, and two siblings at birth.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Maryann Wapinsky Stencovage; son, Daniel “Sten” Stencovage; daughter, Diane “Dee” Ostrosky; two grandchildren, Dr. Todd Brown and Krista Taube; three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Mila and Alexandra Taube; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 6, at St. Clare of Assisi RC Church, 250 E. Hancock St., Saint Clair, PA 17970. Monsignor William F. Glosser will officiate. Friends may call from 9 till 10:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clare of Assisi Memorial Fund at the above address. Burial with military honors will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Gary L. Boose, 60, Frackville, passed away unexpectedly Friday at his residence.
Born in Lancaster he was a son of Paul Boose and the late Shirley Murr Boose. He had been employed as a truck driver for Conway Company.
Gary was an avid Eagles and Nascar fan and truly enjoyed truck driving and traveling the roads.
He was preceded in death by his mother and also his wife Melissa Boose.
In addition to his father Gary is survived by his step-daughter Natasha Zook, his twin brother Jeffery Boose and brother Scott Boose, Lancaster, his two sisters; Deborah wife of Ellet Sapp, Frackville and Kim Henry, Willow Street, PA also by nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Ginger E. Brobst Webb, 51, of Lutz Valley Rd., Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on October 1, 1969 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Albert and Linda Schach Brobst of Schuylkill Haven.
She was a 1987 graduate of Blue Mt. High School.
Ginger received her Beautician license and operated a beauty shop in her home. She also worked for Craftex Mills, Inc. in Auburn, was a Rehabilitation Technician for Genesis Health Care and most recently worked at Omnova in Auburn.
Ginger loved spending time with her children and grandchild, gardening, animals, reading and making her own natural remedies.
Preceding her in death was her companion Keith Krammes.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a son, Michael Webb; daughter, Brittany Webb, both of Schuylkill Haven; granddaughter Izabella Pfeil; sister, Jessica Brobst of Schuylkill Haven; niece, Amanda Stortz; great nephew, John Kimber Stortz; and her beloved companions, Gypsy and Winnie.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to an Animal Rescue of your choice in her memory.
