Thomas E. Miller, 81, Schuylkill Haven, entered into eternal rest Monday morning at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Born January 19, 1939 in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Florence (Wetzel) Miller.
He was a member of the West End Hose Company, Pottsville. Nothing brought more joy to Thomas’ life than watching his grandchildren participate in their sporting events. He could often be found cheering them on at their basketball, baseball or football games.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis (Umbenhen) Miller, September 4, 2011; a son William Miller, August 17, 2020; sisters Dawn Cholko and Katie Williams; and a brother Richard Miller.
Thomas is survived by his son Joseph and his wife Dawn, Schuylkill Haven; daughter Susan Miller, Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren Justin and his wife Christa, Mookie and his wife Amanda, Alicia and her fiancée JR Pothering, and Damyan; great grandchildren Payton, Abby, Emery, Parker and Mason; brother John and his wife Ida, Schuylkill Haven; sister Maggie Nabholz; and several nieces and nephews.

Faye E. Davis, 85, of Pottsville died on Tuesday at Providence Place of Pottsville.
Born February 28, 1934, in Pottsville; She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth McGinley.
She was a 1952 Graduate of Pottsville High School and married to the love of her life James F. Davis for 61 years until his passing in November 2015.
Faye and Jim were the former owners the Davis Office Building and Davis Trucking.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville and served as a Sunday School teacher and council member for several years and the Pottsville Club.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Eugene, James and Gary.
Surviving are her children Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel David Davis, and his wife Debra, Springfield, Virginia; and Kevin Davis and his wife Dianne, Houston, Texas; and Sheri Johnson and her husband Mark, San Diego, California; six grandchildren: Sarah Detty and Michael Davis, Spencer and Clayton Davis, Ali and Ashely Johnson and great granddaughter Julie Detty; nieces and nephews.
Services will be announced.
The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W Arch St, Pottsville, PA 17901 or Providence Place of Pottsville 2200 First Ave, Pottsville, PA 17901.
Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
