Regina D. Straka, 84, of Shenandoah, passed away November 14, 2020, at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.
Born in Shenandoah August 25, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Rose (Yeninas) Bernatonis.
She attended local schools and graduated as valedictorian from J.W. Cooper High School, Class of 1954. She worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Paul Berson.
On May 9, 1959, she married Eugene Straka, who predeceased her on December 31, 2001.
She was a woman of deep faith who began each day sitting in her favorite arm chair reading “Magnificat” and praying for anyone in need.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, traveling to Walt Disney World, and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
The last member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by brothers John, George, and Constantine Bernatonis, and sisters Anna Eidell, Mary and Helen Bernatonis, and Beatrice Rudzinski.
She is survived by children Eileen Barlow, Shenandoah; Kathy, Minersville; Steven and wife, Nancy, Florida; Paul with Jason Wesnoski, Pottsville; and Robert with Tomàs Torres Parkland, Texas; grandchildren Darleen Frantz with Tom Griffin; Jeffrey Straka and wife, Dawn; and Grant Riley, Texas; great-grandchildren Haley, Molly, and Chase Frantz; Jeffrey, Jr., Daphnie, and Ashur Straka; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 20 at 11 am in Divine Mercy Church, Shenandoah, with the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis officiating. Visitation will take place in Divine Mercy from 8 am until the time of Mass.

Born on July 31, 1933 in Schuylkill Haven, she was a daughter of the late Rufus and Alice Sterner Yoder.
She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School and a member of St. Peter's UCC, Pine Grove.
Shirley worked in Data Processing for Pa. National Bank.
She was a member of the Cressona Chapter #367 O. E. S. and the American Legion Aux. #28 in Delaware. She loved traveling and boating.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 65 years, Kenneth A. Young; a great grandson Cole Wolfgang; a brother, William Fullerton and a sister Virginia Barnes.
Surviving are three daughters, Sandra and husband Jim Degler of Emporium, Roxanne Kelly, Lori and husband Barry Goodson, both of Pine Grove; 6 grandchildren, Christopher and wife Hillary Degler, Valerie and husband Shane Imschweiler, Robert and wife Jennifer Wolfgang, Tamara and husband Dr. Jordan Miller, Robert Dannenhower, Alicia and husband Gerard Daley; 11 great grandchildren, Hunter, Aspen and Braxton Degler, Madisyn and Zachary Imschweiler, Leah, Chase, Ava and Allie Wolfgang, Evelyn Miller and Jameson Daley.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Bruce Kosack officiating. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

True to his Boy Scout past, Toby was always prepared, no matter the situation, with the right tools for the job, which if nothing else was a trusty, well-honed pocket knife.
Working construction on the road with his step-father Jim Hall, led him to Western Pennsylvania, where he met the love of his life, Ann. They were married on June 11, 1977 . In December of 1980, their daughter Lacey came along, and turned a biker into a guy who would build Barbie Dream Houses, occasionally end up with pink foam rollers in his hair, and on one very memorable occasion stayed up all night sewing seed pearls and rhinestones onto a costume for a baton competition.
After hanging up his Harley, Toby was known to be seen cruising around in the convertible, often with Raggs or Buck by his side, long grey hair and beard blowing in the wind. That this wizard chose to depart this plane on Friday the 13th is not lost on those who knew him, one last wave of his crystal staff, and a dash of mischief for the road. His artistic talents flourished in the many beautiful one of a kind pieces of jewelry he created.
Toby was always ready with a wink and a grin, the first one on the dance floor, and the last one at the party, he did not want a big, sad fuss made over him. There will be a private graveside ceremony, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity close to your heart in his memory. Family and friends will gather at a later date to celebrate his life.
Toby was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Earl, his step-father Jim Hall, and his beloved Nana and Grandpa, er, Alverta and Harvey Klinger. Siblings Donnie and Debbie Hall. Toby is survived by his wife, a daughter, Lacey, Chapel Hill, NC. Siblings Jimmy Tobias and wife Erin, Patsy Martin and husband Jay, Patrick Tobias and wife Tina and Bill Hall and wife Melissa all of Pine Grove, PA. Linda Sutton and husband Henry of Oveido, FL. Many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins, and we’d be remiss to leave out the many dear friends gathered to him over the course of a lifetime, who he considered family. You all held a place in his enormous, gentle heart.

Born in Tower City, a daughter of the late Marlin William Daniels and Mildred Woods Daniels.
Delores was a graduate of Tower City High School. She was retired from TYCO. She also owned and operated her own beauty parlor for many years.
She was of the Methodist Faith. She was a former member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her three daughters, Kathy Davis, TN; Judy Oxenrider, Williamstown and Jane Shuey and her husband Todd, Tower City; three grandchildren, Kris Meyers and his wife Andrea; Molly Barner and her husband Steve and Perry Shuey and his wife Catherine; five great grandchildren, Aidan, Nash, Penelope, Addison and Jacob.
