Mark A. Hamilton, 53, of Pottsville, passed away on Sunday in Minersville.
Born on March 28, 1967 in Doylestown, he was a son of the late Jack and Elaine Hamilton Landers. He was a 1985 graduate of Minersville High School and was last employed by Precision Casting.
Mark embraced life, never giving up. He loved to laugh and always told stories that were larger than life, he always strived to put a smile on those around him. He always said that he thought laughter was the best medicine. He enjoyed the outdoors while fishing, hunting, biking and running. But Mark’s greatest joy was found in his children, Markus Hamilton and Matthew Hamilton.
Surviving in addition to his two sons are five siblings, Pamela Cavanaugh (spouse, Michael), Philadelphia, Sherry David (spouse, Terry), Philadelphia, Greg Hamilton (spouse, Chris), Pottsville, Chuckie Hamilton (spouse, Chris), Pottsville, and Bridget Stine (spouse, Scott), Branchdale; nieces and nephews.

Anne Marie Brennan, 71, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Saturday at Tremont Health and Rehabilitaiton Center.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Schweikert Bettinger. She was a 1967 graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, and she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University. She was a second-grade teacher for 13 years in local parochial schools, including St. Mary Star of the Sea, St. Francis of Assisi and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. She was also a substitute teacher in the Schuylkill Haven School District. She was later employed in the bakery department at Giant Food Stores, Cressona.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Pottsville.
Preceding her in death were her two siblings, Thomas Bettinger, and Mary Lou Spotts.
Anne Marie is survived by her husband, Richard Brennan, with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage on October 18; two daughters, Angela Brennan, Schuylkill Haven, and Lora Jean Pugliese (spouse, Joseph), Hamburg; a grandson, Zachary Ryan Brennan. She is also survived by three siblings, Michael Bettinger (spouse, Nancy), Gordon, Paul Bettinger, Branchdale, and Kathleen Eichenberg, Minersville; nieces and nephew.
The family will accept visitors at Trinity Episcopal Church, 200 South Second Street, Pottsville, on Monday from 9:00 A.M. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Visitors and attendees can enter the church only at the Centre Street entrance, and they are expected to follow CDC guidelines. Interment will be in the columbarium on the ground of the Chapel of Resurrection in Charles Baber Cemetery, 1400 West Market Street, Pottsville. The family prefers donations to the Preservation Fund for the Chapel of the Resurrection, 200 S. Second St., Pottsville.

Gene D. Klinger, 81, of Elizabethville, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Valley View, November 18, 1938, a son of the late Leon and Elva Harner Klinger.
Gene retired after 35 years with the former J.B. Shoe Factory, Millersburg. He was a self-employed contractor most of his life. Following retirement, Gene enjoyed working as a greeter at Wal-Mart, Elizabethville, where he made many friends.
In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and racing go carts. He was also a member of the Harrisburg Builder's Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Joy Shadle and a brother, Leon Klinger, Jr.
Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Jean M. Leffler Klinger; a daughter, Tammy Neiswender and her husband David, Gratz; a son, Michael Klinger and his wife Paula, Duncannon; three sisters, Dorothy Yeich, Mechanicsburg; Diane Mausser, Hegins and Rose Frantz, Erdman; two brothers, James Klinger, Harrisburg and Rodney Klinger, Sacramento; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Novemebr 11th at 11:30 am from Sweitzers Cemetery, Berrysburg with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, c/o Activity Fund, 44 Donaldson Road, Tremont, PA 17981. Earl J. Zimmerman, Sr., 76, of Ringtown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 at his home.
Earl was born in Ringtown, on June 20, 1944, a son of the late Irene (Gottstein) and Wallace Zimmerman.
He was a 1962 graduate of the Mahanoy Area High School. Earl was retired, having worked as a day shift supervisor at former hanger factory in Ringtown for 43 years. He loved being outdoors, from doing gardening to hunting and fishing. He enjoyed riding his ATV and motorcycle and was an all around handyman who loved working around his home. He was also always willing to learn something new and help anyone in need.
He was a member of Aurand Memorial United Methodist Church, and for many years he had taken care of the lawn at the United Methodist Cemetery in Ringtown.
Earl will be remembered by many for his good sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon (Hart) Zimmerman; and their children, Lori, wife of Randy Dresher, of Ashland; Andrea, wife of Daniel Feeney , of Pine Grove; and Earl Zimmerman, Jr. and his wife Lisa, of Moscow.
A sister Phyllis Clark, of Phinneyville survives, as do his five grandchildren, who he loved and enjoyed very much, Kylee, Cora, Lilah, Noah and Alex.
Memorial donations in memory of Earl are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date which will be announced, when all Earl's friends and family are able to participate together.
