Thomas L. Wingle, 84, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday, November 6th, at Schuylkill Center , Pottsville.
Tom was born in Cressona , on April 21, 1936, a son of the late Mildred (Knarr) and Thomas Leo Wingle.
He was the widower of Beatrice M. (Houtz ) Wingle. She passed away in 2013.
He worked as a Custodian at the Schuylkill Haven High School and served in the US Army.
Tom is survived by four daughters, Michele Wingle; Linda , widow of Ed Messer; Deb Kriner and Cindy Sterner
Two sons Thomas Wingle and Jesse Wingle , husband of Heather.
Tom is also survived by his brother, Earl (Toot) Wingle , husband of Kathy.
He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren; Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
He was preceded by his sister Betty Bello and brothers Gerald, Paul & Edward & John Wingle

Richard J. Hause, Sr., 75, of Yorktowne, Norwegian Township, passed away on Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.
Born on Januuary 25, 1945 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Linden Hause. He was a 1965 graduate of Pottsville High School. He was an ironworker and a life member of Ironworkers Local 404, Harrisburg.
He was an avid golfer, playing on local courses.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Hause, Jr., in 2011.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Rochelle Moser; his granddaughter, Lindsey Moser; a brother, Charles Hause, Minneola, Florida.
The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Thursday from 6:00 P.M. Interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Township.
Shirley M. Fessler, 90, formerly of Joliett, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon.
Shirley was born in Joliett, April 20, 1930, a daughter of the late David and Alma Tobin Thompson. She was a 1948 graduate of Porter High School.
She was a retired seamstress from the garment industry. In 1972 Shirley and her late husband Harry became the co-owners of former Mountaintop Drive-In restaurant, a business they ran for twenty years, retiring in 1992.
She was a faithful member of the Joliett United Methodist Church. Shirley had been very active with TOPS, Pine Grove Chapter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Fessler, 1991; a daughter Jane Herring, 2004.
She is survived by her grandson, Nathan D. Herring, Germany; a sister, Carol English and her husband John, Myerstown; a nephew, Andrew English, Joliett and a niece, Susan Linn, Buffalo.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 14th at 2:00 from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. A viewing will be held from 1:00-2:00. Please follow CDC guidelines. Alice M. Hogan, 84, Lavelle Road, Ashland, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2020 at home. Born in Lavelle on September 5, 1936 the daughter of the late Hubert and Mary (Scheuren) Conniff. Alice was a member of the former St. Mauritius Parish, now St. Charles Borromeo Parish of Ashland. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alice loved to bake and make dinner for her family every Sunday. She was an avid Days of Our Lives fan and was a den mother for her son’s cub scouts .

Surviving are her two daughters, Kathleen Sacco, and her husband Nicholas, of Berwick, PA and Margaret Stump, and her husband William, of Lebanon, PA; three sons: James Hogan and his wife, Kay, Edward Hogan and his wife Deanna and John Hogan, all of Ashland PA; son-in-law, Robert Krieger of Coal Township; 8 grandchildren: Danielle Bixler, and her husband Jason, Katlyn Krieger, Carly Sacco, Zachary Hogan, Liviana Sacco and her fiancé, Andrew Day, Devyn Stump, Jillian Powell and her husband, Kevin, 5 great grandchildren: Trey Kodak, Everly Kramer, Kruker and Brody Bixler and Jacob Powell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, a son, Theodore, a daughter, Patricia Krieger, a granddaughter, Leanne Krieger, great grandchild, Reese Bixler, five sisters: Agnes Bailey, Margaret Weikel, Mary Lentes, Helen Smith and Bernadette Conniff; four brothers: Edward Conniff, Raymond Conniff, Robert Conniff and Thomas Conniff.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday November 12, 2020 at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Ashland, PA. Rev. Brian Miller officiating. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Viewing will be held Thursday November 12, 2020 from 9:00-11:00 at St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Mary C. Duffy, 90, of Minersville, passed away Thursday, November 5th, at Lehigh Valley Health Schuylkill East, Pottsville.
Mary was born in Pottsville, on March 8, 1930, a daughter of the late Anna (Brennan) and Michael Wallacavage. She was a member of the former St. Vincent De Paul Church and the current Saint Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish, Minersville. She was formerly employed as a Cafeteria worker for Minersville Area School District.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter; Susan L. Duffy, and sister; Alice M. Bingaman. Mary is survived by a son, Phillip J. Duffy and his companion Heather A. Umholtz. Mary is also survived by a brother, Michael R., husband of Joyce Wallacavage She is also survived by Grandson; Michael R. Duffy, Granddaughters; Lauren C. Duffy, Erin M. Duffy, Godson Michael A. Wallacavage, Nieces & nephews.
All are respectfully invited to attend a Visitation with calling hours 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Tuesday, November 10th at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Saint Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish, Minersville, with Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating. Interment at Saint Francis of Assisi Cemetery.

Joseph J. Ferraro, 81 of Pottsville died on November 4th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.
Joseph “Joe” Ferraro was a veteran of the United States Navy before enlisting into the United States Army 82nd Airborne Paratrooper division, then serving in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard 728 Main Support Battalion in Pine Grove. After his military career, Joe was a Self-employed truck driver and former Pottsville City Police Officer and retired Chief of Police of Cass Township. Joe’s Hobbies included collecting and restoring military vehicles, building military models, as well as organizing and participating in WWII re-enactments throughout the country.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mary (Farro) Ferraro and Joseph T. Ferraro, his late wife Bernice Ferraro, and step-son Michael Hossler.
He is survived by, two sons Joseph husband of Jennifer Kavanaugh of Forestville and Joseph Ferraro of Port Carbon, two daughters Linda Ferraro of Frackville and Josette , wife of Michael Peckman of Orwigsburg. Also surviving is his sister Prudence Griffin, Pottsville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren: Gina Ferraro, Jenny Ferraro, Kayla, Kylie, and Jake Kavanaugh, and Sierra, Joseph, and Daevonn Ferraro, Aliyah and Nathan Peckman. Great grandchildren Julianna, Aubree, Brianna, and William. The family wishes to thank friend Heather Ingram for her many years of assistance as personal care taker.
