Two people were transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Route 61 near Fountain Springs on Sunday evening.
Just before 9:00pm, Sunday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of 710 Fountain Street, Butler Township for a motor vehicle accident.
According to Butler Township Police, the crash occurred as a Ford Truck pulling a u-haul was backing into the driveway of 710 Fountain Street when a Toyota Prius struck the front end of the truck.
The female driver of the Prius and a female passenger in the truck were transported to area hospitals with minor injuries.
Responding to the scene along with Butler Township Police were Fountain Springs Fire, Friendship Fire/Englewood, Lavelle Fire, Washington Ambulance, and Frackville Ambulance.
Klischer Towing also assisted.
Route 61 was narrowed to one lane while the scene was cleared.
