Tractor Trailer Strikes Deer on Interstate 81
The incident occurred on Monday, December 28th, 2020 around 9:15am near mile marker 129.4 in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township.
Troopers say a tractor trailer being driven by Rodgers Young, 67, of Richmond, VA was traveling in the right lane when a deer entered the highway in front of him.
A collision occurred with the tractor trailer coming to a rest on the right shoulder.
No injuries were reported.

Driver Hits Guard Rail in Kline Township
The crash occurred on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 around 6:50am near the intersection of Treskow Road and Route 309 in Kline Township.
Troopers say Lise Munoz De Henriquez, 30, of Hazle Township was traveling on Treskow Road approaching the intersection when she lost control and struck a guard rail.
The driver was not injured but the vehicle required towing from the scene.
Munoz De Henriquez will be cited for the crash.
