With a snowstorm in the forecast that is expected to dump close to 2 feet of snow on Schuylkill County starting late Wednesday, school districts have begun announcing early dismissals for Wednesday, December 16th, 2020.

Blue Mountain
- Wednesday, December 16, 2020 - All buildings will be operating under a virtual format and a normal time schedule. Teachers will be instructing from home. Students attending the STC will be transported under the special bus schedule used at the beginning of this year. STC will be dismissing early Wednesday. The STC schedule will determine dismissal time.
- Thursday, December 17, 2020 - Due to the risk of power outages and internet disruptions, the district will be closed (old fashioned snow day).
- Friday, December 18, 2020 - A final decision will not be made until Thursday regarding plans for Friday. Announcements will be made via local media outlets, Facebook, Eagle Express and our district’s webpage.
