Helen C. Hufnagle, 92, formerly of Pottsville, died Monday evening at The Jewish Home, Harrisburg.Born July 3, 1928 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Caroline (Hochgertel) Smith.
Helen was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, Pottsville and the Catholic Women’s Union. She was also a 1946 graduate of Pottsville High School. Helen was employed by Bell Telephone, Pottsville and Alston Card Store in the Fairlane Village Mall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband the late Theodore J. “Ted” Hufnagle; and brothers Donald L. and Robert V. Smith.
Helen is survived by a daughter, Carolyn H. wife of Bruce Daley, Harrisburg; grandchildren, Michael Daley husband of Jacinda, Laura wife of Steven Moses, and Matthew; great grandchildren, Theodore, Timothy, and Thomas; great step grandchildren, Miguel and Gabriela; brother, Vincent Smith husband of Joan; numerous nieces and nephews.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist RC Church, Pottsville Rev. David Loeper, Off. Interment will be held in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Pottsville. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. John the Baptist RC Church 913 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, PA 17901 in Helen’s name.

Clinton O. "C.O." Timmins, age 88, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on Monday, October 3, 1932, in Frackville, a son of the late Walter M Timmins and the late Katie A (Kessler) Timmins.
He attended Williamson College of the Trades, Media.
He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and then in the PA National Guard in the 193rd Special Operations Wing Association until his retirement from the service as a Master Sgt.
C.O. was a self employed HVAC contractor and then retired from Mechanicsburg Navy Depot.
He was a member of the Christian Life Assembly, Camp Hill.
He was also a member of American Legion Post 177, Newport.
C.O. loved hunting, woodworking, and camping.
His wife, Phyllis E (Stoner) Timmins, passed away on December 16, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents; by a brother, Walter Warren Timmins; and by two sisters, Melva Timmins and Wilda Wilson.
He is survived by three daughters, Denise J Peirce of Harrisburg, Dawn J Timmins of Mechanicsburg, and Deanna J Bell of Etters; a son, Clinton A Timmins and his wife Traci of Sacramento; eight grandchildren, Lynette Lee, Michelle Peirce, Candice Bostdorf, Kyle Peirce, Matthew Gross, Megan Edwards, Melinda Scheib, and Ethan Timmins; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Evans and her husband Ronald of Trinity, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Private service will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with Rev. Dennis Sproull officiating.
Burial will be made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
