John E. Thomas, of St. Clair died Monday January 4, 2021 at LVHN – Schuylkill – East N, Pottsville.Born in Wadesville, He was a son of the late William and Barbara (Gall) Thomas.
He served in the US Air Force.
John was a Security Guard for Lake Wynonah.
He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, St. Clair.
He was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Sullivan wife; 2 brothers Joseph Thomas and William Thomas.
Surviving are a son Edward Thomas of St. Clair; sister Barbara Pepper of St. Clair; companion Rose Salak of St. Clair. nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair with Jennie Strauch officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Monday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA PO box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901. Burial with military honors will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair.

Born Sunday, September 1, 1940 in Grier City, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Lester and Isabel (Klemchusky) Houser. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Margaret Kimmel, Marie Nunemacher, Shirley Frey.
Surviving are; husband of 60 years, Joseph M. Lawson; daughters, Margaret "Peg" Miller wife of Darryl of Andreas, Melissa Lawson of New Ringgold; sons, Joseph M. Lawson and his wife Marla of Tamaqua, Jeffery Lawson and his wife Gerri of Tamaqua, Jeremy Lawson of Tamaqua; brothers, Robert Houser of Florida, Lawrence Houser wife Sue of Delaware; grandchildren, Ashley Kovatch and her husband John, Lawson Miller and his wife Katie, Elena Lawson and her partner Ashley Corson, Amber Lawson and her husband Cory, Ashley Fortin and her husband Keith, Emily Lawson, Megane Lawson; great grandchildren, John Joseph Kovatch V., Miller Kovatch, Madison Fortin, Liam Fortin, Logan Fortin, Kyrie Lawson, Kolt Miller, Joey Conahan. Many nieces and nephews also survive Nancy.
A 1958 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Nancy was a longtime member of the former SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, now St. John XXIII. Nancy was a member of the Rosary Society of SS. Peter & Paul, and served two terms as Secretary of the former St. Jerome Catholic Women's Education Association.
Nancy was an avid reader, and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

He was born on April 30, 1955 in Pottsville, Pa, son of the late Allen and Clara Ressler.
He was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School where he met his future wife Donna. The two were married August 17, 1985 and moved to OH to pursue work and education. Dave graduated from the University of Cincinnati and subsequently worked at P and G before pursuing his true passion as a buyer, seller and trader of unique collectibles at his business Cool, Calm and Collectible.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved brothers, Johnny and Denny.
David is survived by his wife, Donna, daughter Maria and granddaughter Nora Jean Delk and his cherished dog, Luca.
No service will be held to honor David's wishes. His final resting place will be in his hometown in PA.

Wayne (Jake) Troy, 75, of Zion Grove, passed away Monday, January 4th, 2021 at his residence.
Jake was born in Hazleton, on April 24, 1945, a son of the late Catherine (Smith) and Guy Troy.
He was a retired truck driver, having been employed by the former Yankee Plastics Company, Rarick Excavating and Rands Trucking.
A member of the Shenandoah Fish and Game Club, Jake was an avid shooter who enjoyed hunting.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin and a sister, Elaine Wizda.
Surviving are two brothers, Guy Troy, of Old Bridge, NJ and Barry Troy, and his wife Shirley, of Ringtown; and a sister Jean Demansky, of Zion Grove.
He is also survived by a daughter Amanda, along with grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, January 15th, 2021 at 11 AM at the Nuremberg Cemetery.

Born and raised in the family home between Minersville and Dowdentown, he was a son of the late Thomas and Catherine Hydock.
He was a graduate of Branch Twp. High school. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and served in Germany. He was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Minersville and a member of the former St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, Minersville. He was a machinist at the former Bott’s Auto Parts, Minersville.He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Minersville. He was also a member of Minersville American Legion Post 544.
He was preceded in death in 2008 by his wife Ann Marie; 2 siblings lost in the Spanish Flu; 2 brothers, Joseph Hydock and Stanley Hydock; and 3 sisters Kitty Peron, Mary Taylor and Lillian Certo.
John is survived by a daughter Linda Lopez and her husband James of Minersville; 2 sons Thomas Hydock, at home and Michael and his wife Debra, Minersville; 2 grandsons Lucas and Austin; 2 sisters, Genevieve Rushanon, Minersville and Sister Melrose, a Bernadine Nun, St. Joseph’s Villa; nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to a brief Graveside Service to be held at 11AM Monday in St. Stanislaus #2 Cemetery, Minersville. Virginia attended St. Stephen’s School in Port Carbon, PA, worked in garment factories with her sister to help support her family, then fell in love with Harry C. Neithamer in 1947. Harry and Virginia were married for 49 years until his death April 16, 1996. They parented 4 children, Patricia, Richard, Elaine and Barbara, were blessed with 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was a master gardener, expert seamstress, a skilled quilter and knitter, an artistic painter and a fantastic cook. Always with a smile, she had served her community as a Brownie Girl Scout Leader, was a past member of Allied Artists, and a current member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville where, in year’s past, had taught Sunday school, was a member of Circle 5 and Senior Singers, and, throughout the years served on various church committees, including President of the Craft Class. She had worked in the kitchens at the Pottsville High School Cafeteria and at Leader Nursing Home.
Virginia will be remembered by those who loved her for her energy, wisdom, her willingness to help others in need, her devotion to her faith and family and her love of laughter. We will all miss her.
A private interment will be held on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Grabowski Funeral Home is entrusted with the services.
