On Tuesday, the City of Pottsville announced there would be no Saint Patrick's Day Parade this year, but also announced new events in it's place.

- Best St. Patrick's Day Home Contest
- Take a photo of your home decked out in green.
- Best St. Patrick's Day Pet Photo Contest
- Make everyone smile by sharing a picture of your pet in their cutest, funniest St. Patrick's Day gear.
- Irish Themed Scavenger Hunt
- From March 1st to March 15th, find daily Irish themed clues and trivia questions on the City of Pottsville, Pottsville Recreation, and City of Pottsville's Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration Facebook Pages
