Paul J. Bedway, Sr., 81, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, February 21st, at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's, Bethlehem.Born in Pottsville on November 7, 1939, he was a son of the late Charles Bedway, Sr. & Wilhelmina (Szilier) Bedway.
He was the husband of Margaret F. (Forbes) Bedway.
Paul was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 1957.
He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He was a faithful member of Church of The Nazarene, Schuylkill Haven.
Paul was a lifelong local businessman. He was the proud owner of Bedway's Banana Boat, Schuylkill Haven.The company was known by many for their bananas, watermelons, squash, and pumpkins.
Paul was a member of the F&AM Schuylkill Lodge #138, and the Cressona Lodge #222. A true philanthropist, Paul was an active Rajah Shriner.He was a member of the Rajah Hospital Service Unit, and the Reading Consistory.
As a dedicated and active member of his community, Paul was a longtime member of the Schuylkill Haven Borough Council.He was the chairman of the water committee, and chairman of the sewer committee.Paul also belonged to the Southern Schuylkill Council of Governments.
Additionally, Paul enjoyed participating in the Antique Classic Car Club, and the Rolls Royce Owners Club.
In addition to his wife, Paul is also survived by two sons: Paul Jr., husband of Kim, of Orwigsburg, and David, of Philadelphia; and a daughter, Tammy, wife of Dan, of Orwigsburg. He is also survived by grandchildren: Amanda, wife of Mike, Paul III, husband of Ashley, & Dean and great-grandchildren: Connor, & Carson; as well as his sister, Roseanne, wife of Bill, Orwigsburg, and his close friend and personal assistant, Lesa, and beloved feline companion, Icy, and canine companions: Luccee, & Louie.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Bedway, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 1st at Church of The Nazarene in Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Robert Berry officiating.
A visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of service at the church.
Interment with military honors will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

David A. Colna, Sr., age 73, of Orwigsburg, PA , passed away with his loving family by his side on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at his home.Born in Pottsville, PA on March 11, 1947, he was the son of the late Andrew and Edith (Pearce) Colna.
David attended Pottsville High School. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War from August 1966 till June 1970. David worked in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Matthew Colna in 1990, two grandchildren Madison and Daniel, and four sisters: Ginny, Dot, Butch, Kathy
David is survived by his wife Mary C. (Hubiak) Colna, who would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in November; four children: Michael Hubiak and his wife Stacy, Coatsville; David Colna Jr. and his wife Jennifer, New Philadelphia; Kristen Aungst and her husband Donald, Pine Grove; and Carol Colna and her fiance' Brian Kantner, Bernville; 10 grandchildren: Jalyn, Dylan, Maryn, Kayla, Jaryus, Dalton, Kylee, Nathan, Caitlyn, and Maggie; three great-grandchildren; a brother Andrew Colna, Schoentown; nieces; nephews; and his best friend "Jag".
Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 10:30AM on Thursday, March 4th, with Msgr. Edward Zemanik officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday morning from 9-10:30AM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held in the St. Ambrose Cemetery Boro, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ambrose Church Memorial Fund 201 Randel Street, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Michael A. "Mickey Lynch" Lincovich, beloved husband, father, grandfather, 87 years of age, of Spruce Street Tamaqua, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital Bethlehem.Born Saturday, February 3, 1934 in Brockton, the son of the late Andrew, and Mary (Belsak) Lincovich. He was also predeceased by; his brother, Joseph Lincovich; grandson, Michael Sedlock.
Surviving are; his wife of 65 years, Carol M. (Vayda) Lincovich; daughters, Michele Bitting and her husband Mark of Mechanicsburg, Susan Thrift of Florida, Nancy Cole; sister, Maryann Delpais wife of Paul; grand children, Kyle, Andrew, Noah, Eli, Jesse ; 4 great grand children.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Mickey served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from the International Union of Operating Engineers having worked as a heavy equipment operator. Catholic by faith, Mickey belonged to the Tamaqua Legion Post 173, and South Ward Fire Company. Mickey was a founding member of the Tamaqua Rescue Squad, and served as Chief, and Treasurer for over 25 years.

Cynthia M. Kehl, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, of Washington Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away upon arrival Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania at 64 years of age..Born Monday, December 31, 1956 in Hazleton, the daughter of the late Frederick J. Taweel, and Rose Marie (Fisher) Taweel - Burns. She was also predeceased by her step father, Wilbur J. "Tottie" Burns, Jr.
Surviving are; her husband of 26 years, Gary M. Kehl; daughter, Krissy Catrone of Lansford; sister, Karen Fisher and her husband Richard of Hazle Twp.; grandchildren, Tyler, and Tiffany Hauck; great grandchild, Damian Vanblargan whom she adored. Nieces and nephews also survive Cindy.
Cynthia attended Hazleton School District. She worked in the Textile Industry for many years, and tended bar for the former JR'S of Tamaqua. Cindy was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed trips to the Casino. Cindy's greatest pleasure was the love she received from her family, while watching her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Elmer F. Heffner Jr., 77, of Minersville, passed away Monday, February 22nd, at at his home.Elmer was born in Pottsville, on June 24, 1943, a son of the late Catherine (Keating) and Elmer Frederick Heffner, Sr. He was the husband of Patricia Ann (Marx) Heffner. He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish, Minersville. He was formerly employed at Garden State Tanning Fleetwood for many years. Elmer was a Lifetime Member of the South Cass Fire Co. & the Goodwill Fire Co. Minersville, Scout Master Pack 699, and a longtime volunteer with the Minersville Little League. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Violet Hutton.
Elmer is survived by his wife, Pat, a son, Charles Heffner, “daughter-in- law” Kelly, and a Granddaughter Savannah. Elmer is also survived by a sister, Carol Miller, nieces and nephews including Robert Smith.
A Religious Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville, with Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation, with calling hours from. 8:30 am to the time of service.
In accordance with COVID-19 Guidelines , all recommended social distancing, mask requirements, and public safety guidelines will be followed. Interment at St. Vincent De Paul #2, Cemetery.

John M. Lukacina, 74, of Jonestown, Cass twp. passed away Monday, February 22nd, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.John was born in Pottsville, on February 16, 1947, a son of the late Mary Lukacina. He was the husband of Rose Marie (Rufus) Lukacina. He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Minersville and also attended St. Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish, Minersville. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. John was a Master Electrician at Lutron Electronics.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary, and Step-father, Nick Habarovich. All services shall be private. Interment at Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.
