Janet J. Dreisbach age 83, of Tremont Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, in the same home of her birth.Born on August 12, 1937 in Ravine, she was a daughter of the late Claude M. and Edna A. Strausser Schneck.
Janet was the salutatorian of the Pine Grove High School class of 1955, and was a member of the Echo Valley Grace Church, Tremont.
Janet had been employed as a Cafeteria Aid in the Pine Grove School District, and last in the Preschool at Echo Valley Grace Church.
She was an avid Pine Grove sports fan, enjoyed camping, reading, gardening and cooking.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Theodore E. Dreisbach and a son, Timothy Earl Dreisbach.
Surviving are four sons, Ted Dreisbach, Eric L. Dreisbach, Scott and wife Susan Dreisbach, Rod and wife Kim Dreisbach; two daughters, Jill and husband Shane Mausser, Pam Ryan, all of Pine Grove; 10 grandchildren, Jana Smith, Jeff Wolfe, Lindsey Hindman, Tiana Masser, Eric C, Blake and Ethan Dreisbach, Corrine and Kaylin Ryan, Joey Renninger; 9 great grandchildren; a sister Edith Boe of Pine Grove, and her faithful companion Allie.
Services at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove and the interment at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove, will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be a live streaming of the services on our facebook page for family and friends on Friday, February 5, at 10:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer contributions be made to the Echo Valley Grace Church, 46 Tremont Road, Tremont, Pa. 17981, in her memory.

Richard W. "Sandy" Bopp, 73, of Wiconisco, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Pottsville, November 27, 1947 a son of the late Richard and Ivy Taylor Bopp. Sandy was a graduate of the former Williamstown Catholic High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He retired from Sara Lee Foods Services. Following retirement Sandy was a driver for the local Amish community.
He attended the Calvary Independent Church, Lykens. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars and could build almost anything with his hands.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Waters.
Surviving are his wife, Cherylene D. Oxenrider Bopp and would have celebrated 49 years of marriage in April. Five children; Heather A Caffas, New Cumberland; Jason L. Bopp (Betti), Gratz; Valerie D. Johnson (Nate), Lykens; Alicia N. Fry (Curtis), Williamstown and Timothy A. Bopp (Ashley), Elizabethville; three sisters, Tina Neiman, Muir; Dorothy Walton and Sheila Gouse both of Williamstown; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
A public walkthrough viewing will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 11:00 - 12:30 at the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City following all CDC guidelines and masks are required. Private services will follow with Pastor Robert Straub officiating. Sandy will be laid to rest with military honors in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Calvary Independent Church, 6300 St. Rt. 209, Lykens, PA 17048.

Michael A. Stoppie, 63, of Woodside Rd., Cass twp., passed away suddenly, Saturday, January 30th, at his home.
Michael was born in Pottsville, Pa. on June 19, 1957, a son of the late Martha (Bonchack) and Michael Stoppie. He was the husband of Bonnie A. (See) Stoppie. He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish of Minersville. He was a 1975 graduate of Minersville Area High School. He was employed as a Supervisor for the UGI Natural Gas Co. Mike was a wonderful husband and father. He was kind and soft spoken and had a wit like no other. His grandson Ryan called him “Pap” ….and they were inseparable. His favorite activity and interest was baseball. In his earlier years, he played men’s softball and his love of baseball led him into coaching. He coached his son Michael throughout Little League and Teener League. As Michael moved on to high school, Mike remained the Minersville Teener League coach for several years. The kids he coached absolutely adored him. Mike also enjoyed bowling and bowled in many different leagues.
Mike is survived by a son, Michael, husband of Karen Stoppie. Mike is also survived by four sisters, Sharon Uscilowicz, Rhonda Stoppie, Charlotte, wife of Tom Horn and Michele Marks. A brother, William, husband of Marcia Stoppie. He is also survived by Grandson, Ryan Daubert., Nieces & nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish of Minersville with Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating.
All are respectfully to attend a visitation Friday with calling hours from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville.
Due to COVID-19, all recommended social distancing, mask requirements, and public safety guidelines will be strictly followed. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a Diabetes fund of your choosing.
