Around 5:15am, Tuesday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of 146 West Main Street, Ringtown, for a house fire.
Fire crews and police arrived on scene to find the front of the home at 153 West Main Street fully engulfed.
A 2nd alarm was dispatched calling in additional manpower as well as a tanker task force calling fire units from all around Schuylkill County as well as Columbia County to the scene.
The fire was brought under control in about an hour but crews remained on scene for several hours after.
According to officials, nobody was home at the time of the fire and the man that lived in the home had just left for work.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
