One person was taken to the hospital after a crash near Frackville Friday morning.
Just before 8:00 am, emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of Route 61 and Votech Road, West Mahanoy Township, for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment involving a school bus.
As a West Mahanoy Township Fire Chief arrived on the scene, no entrapment was reported and the crash involved 3 vehicles.
No details were available on the crash, but one person was taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.
Two vehicles, a Ford Fusion and a Chevy SUV sustained heavy damage in the incident and a school bus sustained minimal if any damage.
Responding to the scene were fire departments from Altamont, William Penn, and Englewood along with Shenandoah Ambulance and Schuylkill EMS.
State Police from Frackville were also on scene.
