A pedestrian was struck Thursday evening in East Union Township.
Around 7:15pm, Thursday, emergency personnel were dispatched to an area along Route 924 at the bottom of the Sheppton Mountain for a report of a pedestrian struck.
The victim, that was reported to be a male, was flown to an area hospital for unknown injuries.
The incident is still under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville. As of Friday afternoon, details were not available from police.
Also responding to the scene and landing zone were firefighters from the Sheppton-Oneida Fire Company and Shenandoah Ambulance. The victim was flown via Medivac.
