PennDOT District 5 has announced Road Work in Schuylkill County Scheduled for the Week of March 22nd, 2021 through March 26th, 2021.
Gilberton/ Shenandoah Boros./Frackville/St. Clair/New Castle Township
Pothole patching will take place along Route 61 and Route 924 from Saint Clair, to Frackville, through Gilberton and into Shenandoah starting Monday, March 22nd, 2021 through March 26th, 2021. Lane restrictions will be in place from 7:00am to 3:00pm on the days listed.
Branch Township
Crack sealing is scheduled to take place along Route 209 in Branch Township starting Monday, March 22nd, 2021 through March 26th, 2021. Lane restrictions will be in place from 7:00am to 3:00pm on the days listed.
Tremont Twp/Pine Grove Twp/Frailey Twp
Brush cutting is scheduled to take place along Interstate 81 in Tremont, Pine Grove, and Frailey Townships between Exit 100 (Route 443) and Exit 116 (Route 901) starting Monday, March 22nd, 2021 through March 25th, 2021 from 7:00am through 3:00pm. No lanes restrictions are expected.
Mahanoy Twp, Delano Twp, and Kline Twps.
Road sign work will take place along Interstate 81 between Exit 131 (Route 54) and the Luzerne County lane starting Monday, March 22nd, 2021 through Thursday, March 25th, 2021 between 7:00am and 3:00pm. Lane Restrictions are expected.

Bridge repair/pipe work will take place along Gordon Mountain Road in Butler Township over Rattling Run between Interstate 81 and Biddle Street. Lane restriction will be in place starting March 15th, 2021 through April 26th, 2021 between 7:00am and 7:00pm.
