A Schuylkill County woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal ATV crash on Sunday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Stonington, the crash occurred on Howerters Road in Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County near the Schuylkill County line.
Troopers say the crash occurred as Molly Westfall, 34, of Pitman was driving a Polaris Ranger side-by-side. While making a right hand turn onto Cemetery Road, she struck an embankment on the shoulder of the roadway rolling the side-by-side onto it's passenger side.
A passenger, Karli Snyder, 21, of Pitman, died from injuries she suffered in the incident. Westfall also suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
Three children, ages 4, 9, and 11, who were also passengers, were not injured.
Responding to the scene along with State Police were the Northumberland County Coroner's office, Klingerstown Fire Company, Pillow Fire, Hegins Area EMS, Area Services EMS, and Cartas Towing.
