Michael Richard Farber
, 56, a lifelong resident of Newkirk, PA died on March 24, 2021 at his residence. 

Born on June 17, 1965 in Coaldale, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph Farber and Jean (nee Zaprazny) Rinker. Mike owned and operated his own business, “Mike’s Auto Repair”, his entire adulthood. Besides his skill at auto mechanics, he was also tech savy. A one of a kind, he loved being outdoors and listening to classic rock especially Pink Floyd. He attended Tamaqua High School and was a member of The Parish of St. John XXIII, Tamaqua. 

Mike is survived by daughters, Tanisha Farber of Pottsville, PA, Chelsea Farber of Tamaqua, and Trisha Farber of Tamaqua; son, Carson Farber of Tamaqua; sisters, Marie Trevorah of Quakake, PA and Gina Neumann of Lehighton, PA; former spouse Tonya Farber of Tamaqua; a nephew; a niece; several uncles and aunts; and many cousins.

Arlene Sarah Whah
, 78, a lifelong resident of Tamaqua, PA died on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in Tamaqua. 

Born in Tamaqua on October 30, 1942, she was a daughter of the late James Robert and Erma Mae (nee Eisenberg) Folweiler. Arlene attended Tamaqua High School and worked for the former Morgan Knitting Mills in Hometown. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tamaqua. Arlene was a NASCAR and Eagles fan but a bigger fan of her grandkid's baseball games. Everyone that knew her would tell you that she was a hard worker. 

She is survived by sons, Andrew Whah and his wife Kim of New Port Richey, Florida and James Robert Whah and his fiancee’ Diane Dalatore of Tamaqua; daughter, Amy Sell and her husband Ray of Tamaqua; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Frank Folweiler of Tamaqua and Edward Folweiler of Tamaqua; and several nephews and nieces. 

Arlene was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Allen Whah who died in 1994 and a sister Joyce. Service arrangements are not complete. 

Memorials in Arlene’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 712 South Kaiser Avenue, Taylor, PA 18517. Dorothy Ann Barnes, 72, of Lansford, PA and formerly of Nicholson, PA, died on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at home. She was the wife of the late William Barnes to whom she was married 37 years at the time of his death in 2004. 

Born on June 29, 1948 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Dorothy was a daughter of Dorothy (nee Martin) Kiernan of Lansford and the late James Kiernan. She attended Lackawanna Trail High School and had been employed by a number of local businesses, including the Parodi Cigar Factory and a number of hotels. Dorothy loved animals. 

In addition to her mother, Dorothy, she is survived by son, David Barnes of Nesquehoning, PA; grandson, Billy Barnes of Pittsburgh, PA; and sister, Michelle Kiernan of Lansford. A brother, James Kiernan, Jr., also predeceased her. Online condolences may be made at www.zgfuneralhome.com.

Albert Robert Pascuzzo
, 91, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday, March 26th, at home.

Al was born in Pottsville on December 7, 1929. He was a son of the late Angelo & Amelia (Amoroso) Pascuzzo, who immigrated to the United States from Calabria, Italy.

Al was the widower of Martha E. (Flynn) Pascuzzo, his wife of 61 years; who passed away May 9, 2016.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is also preceded in death by his brothers Richard, & Leonard Pascuzzo.

Al was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1948.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1949 to 1953; honorably discharged as an Aviation Machinist's Mate Second Class.
Al belonged to the Navy Club of the United States of America, Black Diamond Chapter.

He was a devoted and active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pottsville, until its closing. He faithfully served as a eucharistic minister. Al was a current member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.

He had worked as an auto body technician, and retired from Indiantown Gap as a sheet metal worker.

Al could make anything. He loved spending time with his grandchildren crafting things at his work bench.

He is survived by a son, Michael L., husband of Lisa Pascuzzo, of Schuylkill Haven; a daughter, Karen A., wife of Richard Schreader, of California; four grandchildren: Sara Fredricksen (Tim), Scott Schreader (Ashley), Christian Pascuzzo (Sarah), & Sofia Pascuzzo, three great-grandchildren: Madeline Fredricksen, Zoey Schreader, & Stella Pascuzzo, a sister, Geniveve (Jenny), widow of Edward O'Connor, of California, and nieces & nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 31st at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven, with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

Interment will follow mass at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pottsville.

At the family's request, memorial donations in Al's name may be forwarded to St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 201 Randel Street Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Ralph Richard Tobin
, 90, of N. Pine St., Tremont, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born on December 4, 1930 in Tremont, he was a son of the late Lawrence Sr. and Emma Zerbe Tobin.

He was a CPL in the Army having served during the Korean Conflict.

Ralph was a mechanic at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation and was also in the National Guard.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Arlene L. Lynch Tobin; four sisters, Kathryn Mayberry, Janet Hoy, Jean Kinsey, and Carol Becker; five brothers, Lamar Tobin, Lawrence Tobin, Jr., Wilmer Tobin, Harold Tobin, and Clarence Tobin, Sr.

Surviving are two daughters, Judith and husband Butch Kolva of Tremont, Linda and husband Randal Schies of Pine Grove; three grandchildren, Jake Kolva, Erin and husband Russell Frantz, and Briana Schies; four great grandchildren, Lexy Albert, Austin Frantz, Brayden Frantz and Christian Frantz; nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. Graveside Services and interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family with Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Wounded Warriors Inc. Pennsylvania, 1117 Country Club Road Camp Hill, Pa 17011 in his memory.

Joan (Zulick) Mueller, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, a longtime resident of Clamtown, Tamaqua, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Heritage Hills Sr. Living in Weatherly;, having been a guest for the past 4 years.

Joan was born at home in Nesquehoning, Pa. on January 17, 1930 to Mike Zulick of Nesquehoning and Esther Kotis of Coal port, Pa. She is one of 3 children. Two older sisters; Pauline, who is deceased, and Bernice who lives in California.

She attended St. Joseph’s grade school in Jim Thorpe but graduated from Nesquehoning High School in 1947. Her father, who was the President of the School Board at the time, was proud to congratulate her and hand her the diploma.

Joan married Thomas Mueller of East Mauch Chunk in 1950 at ST. Josephs’ Church in Jim Thorpe. They were happily married until his passing in 1990. They had 2 children, Edward Mueller and his wife Brenda, Janet Karee, both who reside in Mississippi. She is regarded as “Nanny” to 2 grandchildren, Corey and Lindsey Mueller, and a great “Nanny” to Essence Mueller. Joan is also survived by nieces, Joan Marie Mispley who is also her goddaughter wife of Jack, and Kristine Agardi.

As a law librarian she worked for the Carbon County Courthouse for 10 years under the direction of the late Judge James McCready. She also worked for the Tamaqua Post Office for 23 years and called South Tamaqua home for 60 years until she moved to Heritage Hill in 2018. She loves agriculture and was an avid gardener.

Joan was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua. Joan loved to socialize with friends, and would at time visits to visit Wegmans to coincide with them,

Howard J Fees, Jr
, age 86, of Valley View passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

He was born on in New Philadelphia, a son of the late Howard B. and Mary Kilousky Fees.

He was a graduate of 1952 graduate the former Blythe Twp. High School.

Howard made a career in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Lt. Commander. He also worked as a corrections officer at the SCI Frackville after retiring from the Navy.

He was a member of the Hegins Trap Club, Valley View Gun Club, and the Short Mountain Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife Sandra L (Kimmel) Fees, to whom he was married for 34 years.

He is also survived by two sons, Howard J Fees, III and wife Anne; and Bruce L Fees; grandchildren, Michelle and husband James Teetz, Matthew and wife Sara Fees, Kathryn Kidd, and Koral Fees. great grandchildren, Morgan Teetz, Laurel Teetz, Abagail Fees, Cienna Fees; brothers Jack and wife Sue Fees, Bob and wife Sally Fees, Alan Fees; sisters, Rosemarie Prutzman, Arlene Slane and husband Jack, Carol Ann Homa, Nettie Irene Zelwalk and husband Jack, Donna Boland, and Joan Cebatoris and husband Jim; and several nieces and nephews.

Private burial will be made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
