Firefighters responded to a car fire in Frackville on Saturday evening.
Just after 9:45pm, Saturday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of North Nice Street and John Street for a vehicle fire.
Frackville Police arrived at the scene to find a Dodge Ram with the engine compartment fully engulfed in flames endangering a nearby home.
Firefighters from the Goodwill Fire Company and Englewood Fire Company arrived on scene and contained the fire to the vehicle.
Frackville Police said that the driver reported that he returned home 5 minutes prior to the truck catching fire.
No injuries were reported and firefighters cleared the scene by 10:30pm.
