Three Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash on the Gordon Nagle Trail

Three people were reported to have suffered serious injuries in a crash on the Gordon Nagle Trail on Saturday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred around 3:20pm, at the intersection of the Gordon Nagle Trail and SPCA Road in North Manheim Township.

Troopers say Steven Reed, 48, of Williamstown in a Subaru Forester cross the center double line and struck Anika Sine, 25, of Pottsville head-on.

Reed, his passenger, Tori Reed, 47, and Sine all reported to have suffered serious injuries in the crash.  Steven Reed was flown to an area hospital for his injuries while Tori Reed and Sine were transported via Schuylkill EMS.

Reed will be cited for the crash.

Assisting State Police at the scene were the Yorkville Hose and Fire Company, Schuylkill EMS, and JRL Towing.
