Members of the borough's American Legion and VFW were helped by the teachers of North Schuylkill, the Ashland Boys Scouts, Ashland Girls Softball, and the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
The volunteers placed flags in cemeteries in Ashland and Fountain Springs.
Traditionally, students from North Schuylkill would assist, but due to COVID-19, volunteers will wait until next year to bring the tradition back.
