The Englewood Block Party is the regularly the kick-off of the summer schedule of block parties in the Coal Region. With the cancelling of most block parties for 2020 including Englewood's, fire companies were eager to get out and celebrate.
The parade was scheduled for Friday, but due to weather, it was postponed until Saturday.
An added edition to the parade, the North Schuylkill Track and Field was included to celebrate their accomplishments at the PIAA State Meet including bringing home the Girls State Championship.
