Born in Lavelle, PA, December 26, 1938 the son of the late Anthony and Margaret (Victoriano) Malho. He graduated from Butler Township High School. He was a member of St. Mauritius Parish, Ashland which is now St. Charles Borromeo. He owned and operated the Malho Coal Co. that his father founded. He worked at Wheelabrator, Frackville for over 15 years until his retirement. He liked to hunt, fish and play golf. He was devoted to his family. He loved his wife more than anything in the world, and never really got over her passing. He was a devoted son, taking care of his mother her whole life, and never missed a day visiting her in the nursing home in her last couple years of life. He was an amazing father, always there in all aspects of their lives. His joy in life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was at every sporting event, school event, and religious ceremony. He took them fishing, to amusement parks and on many trips. He enjoyed collecting trains with them and in the last year he had fun playing tea party with his great granddaughter.
He was married for 39 years to the love of his life, Joan E. (Reiff) Malho, until her passing in September 1999.
He is survived by two daughters and one son: Tracey Heizenroth and her husband, Charles, Ashland; Shelly Shutt and her husband, JD, Kulpmont; and Christopher Malho and his wife Darlene, Lavelle. 5 grandchildren: Michael Zelechoski, Portland, OR; Jordan Zelechoski, Pensacola, FL; Jared Shutt and his wife, Michelle, Glenolden, PA; Desiree Malho, Lavelle; and Christopher Malho, Jr, Lavelle. 2 great grandchildren: Maggie and JJ. An uncle, Ralph Victoriano, Shamokin. Cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland with Rev. Brian Miller, officiating.
Interment in St. Mauritius Cemetery, Ashland. Viewing Friday 9:00-10:45 AM at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland.
