One person was transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the Morea Road in Mahanoy Township late Friday.
Just before 10:00pm, emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of Fabcon Precast on the Morea Road for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
According to Mahanoy Township Police at the scene, two vehicle, a car and truck with a horse trailer side-swiped each other.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the car was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
