Ros Ann Zucosky, 72, Girardville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 15th at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehab Center, Frackville.

She was a daughter of the late Peter and Helen Jablonski Barry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Peter Brennan; her brothers: Peter, Henry and Gerald Barry; a nephew, Jordan Barry.

Ros Ann is survived by her daughter, Helenanne Brennan and her fiancé Shane Paddock, Girardville; a brother, James and his wife Mary Lou Barry, Frackville; a granddaughter, Morgan Brennan and also nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home Inc., Girardville is in charge of the arrangements.

Richard G. York, 85 years of age, of Coaldale, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, as a guest of Maple Shade Senior Living in Nesquehoning.

Born Tuesday, December 3, 1935 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late Theodore, and Helen(King) York. He was also predeceased by;his beloved wife, Dorothy C. (Lewis) York in 1996; brother, Theodore York.

Surviving are;daughters, Felicia Porambo wife of Frank of Lansford, Susett A. Baddick wife Robert of Coaldale, Carolyn G. Capps wife of Mark of Allisonia, VA; son, Rick Yorkof Pottsville; grandchildren, Karly, Lacey, Eli, Taylor, Paige, Jason,Andrew; great grandchildren, Kaylee,Kory, Sage, Lucy.

A graduate of Coaldale High School, Richard served honorably first in the United States Navy, and then in the United States Air force. A retiree of United Airlines Richard had over 30 years of service at Philadelphia International Airport. In retirement,Richard ferried cars for Rottet Motors of Tamaqua. An active member of St. Mary's Orthodox Church of Coaldale, Richard was a Past President, and served as Sexton for many years. Richard enjoyed traveling, liked his cars, and was dedicated to the Flag.A more devoted pop would be hard to find.

(570)668-2550 A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday June 19, 2021 from St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church located at 217 First Street Coaldale, Pennsylvania 18218, Rev. James Weremedic to celebrate. Friends will be received in church from 9:30 A.M. until time of worship.

Interment with Military Honors to be bestowed, Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Franklin J. "Pete" Pruett, husband, father, pop-pop, brother of Washington Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Monday, June 14, 2021, at home while in the loving care off his family at 90 years of age.

Born Monday, May 25, 1931 in Tamaqua, the son of the late James, and Annabell (Sassaman) Pruett.

Surviving are; his beloved wife of 66 years, Phyllis Ann (Bower) Pruett; son, Kerry F. Pruett and his wife Diane of Tamaqua; daughters, Susan Fegley wife of Tom of Tamaqua, Janis Keich wife of Tim of Tunkhannock; sister, Dolores Martin of Tamaqua;5 grandchildren, Chad Fegley and his wife Jen, Jordan Fegley and his wife Jenny, Jillian Tuckett and her husband Jesse, Aaron Keich, Abby Haraschak and her husband Ryan; great grandchildren, Ava, Myla, Bryce, Luke, Laughton, Leighton. Many nieces and nephews also survive Pete.

Pete was a 1949 graduate of Tamaqua High School where he was an accomplished athlete having been named to the 1948 All County football squad. Pete served honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War on the USS Leary. Upon his return home he worked for Remalley Manufacturing of Tamaqua He was a member of Trinity U.C.C., Lifetime member of the American Hose Fire Company, Tamaqua Legion, and was a Knee-Hi football coach of the Tamaqua Eagles during Kerry's playing days. Pete enjoyed watching old westerns on TV, walking, visiting Boyer's grocery store, and reading history. An ardent Philadelphia sports fan, Pete followed the Phillies and Eagles. No holiday, or visit was complete until Pete's homemade hot bologna was served. He will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Pete's life will be held on Friday June 18, 2021 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the Funeral Home. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until time of services, Rev. Darryl Kennsinger to officiate.

Interment with Military Honors will be in White Church Cemetery Barnesville, Pennsylvania.
