A youth trap shoot was held at the Ashland Gun Club near Fountain Springs on Saturday.
This was the 12th year for this fun event for ages ranging from 8 to 16 years old.
The children were separated into 4 age groups, with each group receiving a trophy for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Then there was an overall shoot.
1st place was taken from each age group have a shoot out for the overall trophy.
Special thanks was given to Craig Wagner, his wife Jen, and his son Scott, who are the main force behind this event as well as others. The planning for this event takes approximately a year with selling gun tickets and collecting donations.
Organizers also thank the children who participated in the event and their parents.
