Palisades would not be a team that North Schuylkill would meet during the normal season, but Friday night was the Spartans first test of their new Schuylkill-Colonial League Schedule.
North Schuylkill shut out the Pirates in the first half taking a commanding lead of 45-0 going into halftime.
The mercy rule kicked in for the second half and the Spartans would put in their second string which would only score once more in third quarter and for the remainder of the game.
Palisades would score twice in the 4th quarter but miss the opportunity for extra points.
North Schuylkill would win at home 52-12.
The Spartans will be away next week when they play at Pen Argyl on Saturday at 1:30pm.
