According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021, troopers received a report of burglary on Coal Mountain Road near Deer Lake.
The homeowner told police that he arrived at the home to find a man inside the home attempting to take a shower after he helped himself to frozen TV dinners and a 6 pack of beer.
The man fled the scene after being found.
State Police issued a BOLO for the suspect and found the man, identified as Devon Shaak, 31, of Pine Grove, walking along Route 61 near Schaeffer's Power Sports.
Shaak was taken into custody, charged with burglary, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief
He was arraigned and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $50,000 straight cash bail.
