Clyde R. Shadler, 92, of Pine Grove, passed away Tuesday, August 31st, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.Born in Schuylkill Haven, on October 15, 1928, a son of Clyde Shadler.
He was the widower of Barbara Ann (Croyle) Shadler, who passed away January 12, 2021.
He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Stoddard which was a destroyer.
He retired from Verizon Telephone Co.
He is survived by three sons: Clyde R. Shadler, of Sch. Haven; Mark S. Shadler, of Pine Grove; and Timothy S., husband ofSandra Shadler, of Sch. Haven; Grandchildren Mark, Dustin, Tim, Richard, Kimberly, Jennifer, Adam and Sandra and numerous great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 13th at St. Mark's Brown's Church in Wayne Township, with Pastor Eugene Eckroth officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be held 9:30 am until the time of the service at the Church.
Interment at Saint Mark's Browns Cemetery Washington Township, PA.

Elizabeth K. "Betts" Honicker, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, August 31st, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.
Born in Mount Laffee, PA on October 7, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Farrell) Salen.
Her husband of 49 years, Ronald F. "Ronnie" Honicker, preceded her in death in 2013.
In addition to her mother and husband, Betts is also preceded in death by her brother, Jack Salen, and brother-in-law, Donald Runkle.
She attended Cass Township High School.
Betts was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven. She retired in 1989 from the Walk-In Shoe Co. after 32 years of service.
Betts is survived by a goddaughter, Kathy Buzalko, McKeansburg, sister-in-law, Janice Runkle, Schuylkill Haven, nieces & nephews including Carol Campbell, Diane O'Neill, & Donald "Bud" Runkle, cousins including Bonnie Hasenauer, and her beloved canine companion, Brody.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven, on Saturday at 10:30 am with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:15 - 10:15 am at the Church.
Interment will follow mass at Saint Ambrose Cemetery, Cressona.
