Kathleen Mae Valentine, 92, of Tamaqua, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 in Reading, PA at the home of her son, Jimmy and his husband Aaron. She was the wife of the late James A. Valentine with whom she celebrated 68 years of marriage prior to his death on December 15, 2017.Born in Tamaqua on August 26, 1929, Kathleen was a daughter of the late William and Bertha (Reiman) Cool. A 1948 graduate of Tamaqua High School, she was a member of the Tamaqua South Ward Fire Company Auxiliary, the Tamaqua American Legion Auxiliary, the Tamaqua Senior Citizens, and the Rush/Ryan/Delano Senior Citizens. Kathleen was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of WELCA. She enjoyed watching old movies and loved having her family around especially when grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren were able to visit.
Kathleen is survived by sons, Mark Valentine and his wife Charlene of Hometown, PA, Craig Valentine and his companion Helen of Tamaqua, Kenneth Valentine and his wife Karen of Quakake, PA, and James Valentine and his husband Aaron Morgan of Reading; daughters, Marsha Bynon and her husband James of Tamaqua and Cynthia Hinkel and her husband Greg of Lebanon, PA; daughter-in-law, Peggy Valentine of Tamaqua; 13 Grandchildren; 29 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
In addition to her husband Jim, she was predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Bynon; great grandson, Kingston Reph; and her siblings John Cool, Charles Cool, William Cool, Martha Kurtz and Amelia Faust.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua. Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua will follow the services. Calling hours will be 6-8 PM on Monday and 10-11 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials in Kathleen’s name may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 101North Greenwood Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252. COVID-19 protocols will be followed.

Pauline Ann Schuller, 57, of Saint Clair, passed away Monday, Sept. 20, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus.----------------------------------------------------------
Born March 15, 1964, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary L. (Fabian) Reber.
Pauline was a 1982 graduate of Schuylkill Haven Area High School.
She was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Cressona.
Pauline had been employed as a hairstylist for more than 25 years by Regis Corp. and Cost Cutters. She was most recently employed by Hollywood Casino.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Travis Schuller.
Pauline is survived by a daughter, Phelicia Schuller, of Temple; a granddaughter, Lorelei Schuller; two sisters, Shirley, wife of Robert Gilgore, Schuylkill Haven, and Beverly, wife of Randall Beck Sr., Lake Wynonah; her companion, Joshua Pollack, Hazleton; nephew, Robert Gilgore; niece, Patricia Gilgore.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Kevin Fruchtl officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Francis J. Gallo, age 83, of Palo Alto, PA passed away Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 at Orwigsburg Center.
Born in Pottsville, PA on June 11, 1938, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Long) Gallo.
Francis worked as a Philanthropist and Stamp Collector and he was a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Dolores Lynch
Francis is survived by wife of 22 years, Cheryl A. (Kocher) Gallo, Palo Alto; a brother Jack Gallo and his wife Judy, Allentown; a sister-in-law Pamela Simms and her husband Howard, Pottsville; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville on Tuesday September 28th, with Rev. Phil Rodgers officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday September 28th from 8:30-10AM at the Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home in Port Carbon.
Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery in Schuylkill Haven.

Zon V. Goss, 53, of Middle River, Maryland, passed away suddenly Saturday, September 18, 2021 at his home.
Born in Mechanicsburg, May 15, 1968, a son of Charlotte Scheib Wojciechowski, Millersburg and the late Leonard J. Goss. He was a 1987 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School.
He was last employed an IT manager with the former OST Trucking.
Surviving are his mother, Charlotte Scheib Wojciechowski and her companion, James McCauley, Millersburg; a sister, Selina Williams and her husband Wayne, Tower City; a brother, Dennis Scheib and his wife Sandy, Williamstown. Six nephews and nieces.
Zon will be laid to rest in the Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.

Charles Robert Smith Jr., age 70 of Hegins passed away Tuesday September 21, 2021 at Geisinger St. Lukes Hospital, Orwigsburg.
He was born on December 24, 1950, in Valley View a son of the late Charles Sr. and Evelyn Miller Smith.
Charles was a graduate of Tri Valley High School, Class of 1968.
He worked for Sterman Masser Potato Inc, Sacramento, until his retirement.
Charles was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, and also a member of Valley View Gun Club, and Valley View VFW Post #8237.
He loved cooking and hunting, time spent with family, especially when with his wife and grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by a brother James Smith.
Charles is survived by his wife Janet M. (Kessler) Smith, to whom he was married for 38 years.
He is also survived by four daughters, Angela, and husband Michael Brandenberger of Valley View; Lisa and husband Troy Wolfgang of Sacramento; Crystal and husband Eric Morgan of Pitman, Cami and husband Shane Leedy of Hegins; son, Michael and wife Kathy Rothermel of Valley View; two sisters, Susan and husband Robert Mattis of Sacramento; Carol and husband Robert Bowman of Hegins; brother, Bruce and wife Kelly Smith of MD; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Raymond W. Holland III officiating.
Burial will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento.
