Born in Tamaqua on July 29, 1934, Daniel was a son of the late Jacob and Mary (nee Urban) Baddick. He was an owner and operator of the Baddick & Laskowsky Drilling and Boring, Tamaqua. Daniel served in the Tamaqua National Guard. At one time he had been an avid hunter and he always enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles. Daniel was raised in the Catholic church.
In addition to his wife, Jean, Daniel is survived by sons, Daniel J. Baddick and his wife Susan of Tamaqua, Thomas J. Baddick of State College, PA, and David A. Baddick and his wife Sherry of New Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Eric Baddick, Maureen Creitz, David Baddick, and Jacob Baddick; 6 great grandchildren; and brother, Victor Baddick of Tamaqua.
He was predeceased by a son, Theodore Baddick; brothers, Paul Baddick, Louis Baddick, Theodore Baddick, Jacob Baddick, and John Baddick; and sisters, Frances Tepo, Nora Woznisky, and Rita Navitsky.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Zizlemann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua. Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown will follow the services. Call 9-11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. COVID-19 protocols will be followed.

Tara was born in Pottsville, on November 30, 1969, a daughter of Mary Ann (Fessler) Gable, of Pottsville, and the late Gregg L. Gable.
Tara was a 1987 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and American University, Washington, D.C.
She was a past employee of Aetna Health Care in Washington.
Tara enjoyed travelling, scuba diving and being with her animals.
In addition to her Mother Mary Ann Gable, Tara is survived by her brother, Scott L. Gable, of Kingston, WA; her Partner Josh Hodel, Kent WA.
Tara is also survived by her aunts Martha Long, Shillington; Annie Fessler, Pine Grove; Uncles Robert Fessler, Pine Grove and Ronald Reppert, Shoemakersville. Her Cousins are Kim Zeiber, Fleetwood; Shannon Brockmeier, Mohnton; Gary Fessler and Brian Fessler, both of Pine Grove; Mackenzie and Alexandra Zeiber; Mia and Lily Davies, all of Fleetwood.
In addition to her father Gregg Gable, Tara was predeceased by her aunt Donna Reppert.
Services are private and entrusted to the Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg.

Lisa Lubish Blumenberg, 61, of Pottsville, passed away on Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill – East.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John Lubish and the late Joyce Fritchmen Lubish. She attended Pottsville schools; and had worked as manager of the Burger King franchise in Yorkville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hawkins, who died in transit to Vietnam while serving in the Air Force; a nephew, Bradley Wilkinson.
Lisa is survived by three siblings, Susan Hahn, Saint Clair, John Lubish, Saint Clair, and Barbara Wilkinson, Clio, California; her companion and caregiver, Randy Walb, Minersville. She is also survived by two nieces, Brenda Thorne and Karen Geiger, both of Saint Clair; three nephews, William Hahn, Pottsville, Robert Hahn, Saint Clair, and Jared Lubish, New Philadelphia; a paternal aunt, Theresa Brilla (spouse, Joseph), Harrisburg.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.

Born Tuesday, December 19, 1944 in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Herbert, and Virginia (Essex) Hans. Linda was also predeceased by; her husband, George Rasmussen; son, Eric Rasmussen; sister, Carol Dietz; brother, Herbert Hans.
Surviving are son, Rasmussen Keith and his husband Alejandro Arriaga of New York, NY,; daughters, Dawn Rasmussen and her husband Anthony Roberts and Tori Michael and her husband David both of Albrightsville, PA.; sister, Virginia Frascelli of NY, NY; grandchildren, David, Tyler, Alyssa, Thomas; daughter-in-law, Theresa Rasmussen.
A homemaker, Linda was a devoted catholic.

Born in Shenandoah on July 20, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Frances (Zkosky) Hughes.
She was a 1954 graduate of the former West Mahanoy Township High School, Shenandoah Heights.
Prior to her retirement, she was last employed at the Shenandoah Valley Elementary School as secretary to the principal for twenty-eight years. Earlier, she was a bookkeeper for Shen-Ann Dress Factory for twelve years.
Gerri was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah and the former Annunciation BVM Church where she was a very active volunteer for all parish functions and fundraisers. She was also a member of the Glover’s Hill Athletic Club Ladies Auxiliary, Shenandoah. She was an avid Phillies and Notre Dame fan and enjoyed going to area bingos and casinos.
Above all else, Gerri cherished the time spent with her family.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Gerald A. “Jerry” Flynn on March 29, 2019; three brothers, Joseph, Edward and Bernard Hughes; three sisters, Mary Mulroy, Frances Mack and Catherine M. “Kitty” Donovan; her son-in-law, Robert Klinger; and her black furry friend, her cat “Ben”.
Surviving are her daughter Debra Aponick Klinger of Gordon with whom she resided; two grandchildren, Sheila Quick and her husband Jason of Gordon, and Jenna Gradwell of Pottsville; seven great-grandchildren, Kaeli, Abby, Jacob, Novah, Ezra, Scarlett and Koda; one brother, James Hughes of Shenandoah Heights; one sister, Jean Dower of Ashland; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 10:00 am in Divine Mercy Church, 232 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Divine Mercy Church.

William E. Gress, 62, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Saturday, September 25th, at his residence.
William was born in Bethlehem, PA on October 9, 1958, a son of Joyce (Salasky) Gress and the late Donald Gress.
He served in the U.S. Army.
William was the husband of Lauren Timm-Gress.
Services will be held privately in Bethlehem.

Marie H. (Skavinsky) Kummerer, 84, of Hamburg, passed away September 25, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was the widow of Glenn C. Kummerer, who died on January 6, 1992.
Born in Minersville, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Ella (Kushlick) Skavinsky.
She was a graduate of Minersville High School and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in 1957.
Marie was employed by Dr. Donald Seidel Medical Practice for 15 years, retiring in 1988.
A devout Catholic, Marie was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Hamburg.
Family and faith were always paramount to Marie, and she cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by five children: Michelle L., wife of Jim Vogel, Wellsboro, Michael S., husband of Janet Kummerer, Mt. Vernon, WA, Brian K., husband of Mary Ellen Kummerer, Shoemakersville, Jeffrey S. Kummerer, husband of Lissy Alegre Kummerer, Nathrop, CO and Karen L. Walker, Allentown. Seven grandchildren: Ashley Stair, Brittni Simone, Bradley Kummerer, Joshua Stair, Alexandra Kummerer, Christopher Kummerer and Mitchell Kummerer; five great-grandchildren: Tanner Simone, Parker Simone, Luna Stair, Lincoln Kummerer and Atlas Stair and one expecting grandchild also survive her.
She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Skavinsky and her grandson, Tyler Stair.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Hamburg. Burial will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
