A crash near Ashland sent two people to the hospital on Thursday morning.
Around 11:35am, Thursday, emergency personnel from Ashland were dispatched to the area of Danny's Drive for a motor vehicle accident with minor injuries.
According to Ashland Police, the two-vehicle crash occurred when Maria Casey, of Minersville, in her pulled out from Nater Street attempting to go North on Route 61.
Witnesses told police, Casey pulled out into the path of Jennifer Probition, of Ashland.
Probition front end struck Casey's driver side door causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Casey and her passenger, Kathleen Casey, sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital.
Probition and her passenger David Dross, of Ashland were evaluated by EMS and released.
Casey will be cited for causing the crash.
Probition will be cited for driving with a suspended license.
The American Hose Company and Washington Rescue responded along with Washington Ambulance and Shenandoah EMS. Butler Township Police and Ashland Fire Police also assisted with traffic control.
