A demolition job in Mahanoy City didn't go as planned on Tuesday afternoon.
On Tuesday, a demolition crew began tearing down the old printing press building on South Street in Mahanoy City.
Work was going as planned until the 3-story building completely collapsed knocking down wires and throwing debris into the surrounding street and alleyway.
Worked was halted and borough, fire, and PPL crews are currently at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
The building in it's prime was used for printing "The Saule", which called itself the world's first Lithuanian language newspaper from 1888 to 1959.
