The Pottsville Police Department is investigating several acts of criminal mischief to vehicles that occurred overnight on Monday, October 11th, 2021 into Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 in the city.
According to Chief Richard Wojciechowsky, through investigation officers located 18 vehicles that were damaged during a spree which appears to have started on the North Side of Laurel Blvd at 9th then continued as the suspects travelled west on Laurel to North on 12th Street, west on Mt. Hope Avenue, North on Walter Griffith, east on Peacock and north on North Centre.
During this time a passenger in a dark in color sedan used an unidentified object to damage the side mirrors of parked vehicles. Some vehicles had additional damage done to the front windows and body.
