Lois R. Shober, 90, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Friday, October 22nd, at Schuylkill Center Pottsville.Lois was born in Mahanoy City, PA on July 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Dennis) and Frank Shober.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church Mahanoy City.
Lois graduated from Mahanoy City High School.
She worked as an operator and then a customer service representative for Bell Telephone until she retired.
Lois was a longtime supporter and volunteer for the SPCA, and the Hillside SPCA. She was also an avid tennis player.
She is the last of her immediate family. She is survived by cousins John Motsney and his wife Teah, Dan Gears and his wife Patricia, William, Gail and Sally Guers, Nancy and her husband Rev Bill Hartman, and Lois and her husband Joseph Feliciani.
She is preceded in death by longtime companion Marion “Babe” Mickey.
A Religious Service will be held the at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 am on Wednesday, October 27th, with Reverend Bridget Wagner officiating.
Friends and family may call Tuesday October 26th, from 6 To 8 pm and Wednesday October 27th, from 9 to 11 am at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc.
Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery Association Mahanoy City, PA.

Robert A. Elliott, 43, of Upper Darby, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA.Born on January 28, 1978, in Drexel Hill, PA, Robbie was a son of the late Arthur P. Elliott and the late Patricia M. (Jones) Stewart.
Rob had a generous heart, infectious laughter, and a brilliant mind. He loved all animals, had a particular affection for cats (his fur babies) and was actively involved in cat rescue. He was an avid gamer, collector, and reptile handler.
Surviving are two sisters, Kathleen Bacon of Norristown, Sandra Heim of Pine Grove; a brother, Richard C. Stewart, III of Souderton; 3 nieces Angela, Leigh, Mackenzie, 2 nephews Ethan & Austin, one great-niece Alice; long-time friend and confidant Tiki Polk-Lesko and his cats which he considered his children, Angel, Polly, Chance, Phantom, Wispy, Slinky, & Prim.

Robert C. Heberling, 60, of Wertz Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East.Born on May 15, 1961 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late William and Clarabella Fenstermacher Heberling.
Robert was a Delivery Driver for Horning's Supply in Pine Grove and O-Z Gendey Co. in Shoemakersville. He also helped at the Ruth Steinert SPCA
Preceding him in death were his wife, Elaine Brown Heberling and his twin sister Gail A. Heberling.
Surviving are a daughter, Beth and husband Lance Klinger of Schuylkill Haven; a son, Jamie Heberling of Minersville; five grandchildren, Carrie, Jade, Brayden and Talon Heberling and Levi Klinger; two brothers, William and Joseph Heberling; and two sisters, Darlene Anderson and Mary Sanders; nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services and interment will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Hetzel's Cemetery, 261 Hetzel's Church Rd., Pine Grove with Pastor John Ries officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in his memory to help with expenses.

Elizabeth V.T. Folk-Hartung, 90, of New Ringgold, passed away, Thursday, October 21st, at Seton Manor.
Betty was born in Orwigsburg, on November 10, 1930, a daughter of the late Elizabeth V. (Moyer) and Edward L.T. Moyer.
She was the widow of Ethan J. Hartung. Her first Husband, William J. Folk, Sr. died in 1985.
She was an Orwigsburg High School Graduate, Class of 1948 and earned her LPN certification from the Pottsville Nursing School.
She worked as a LPN for Laurel Nursing Home and retired in 1994.
She was a member of Calvary Evangelical Methodist Church Tamaqua. She taught Sunday school for over 44 years and served on Church Council for many years.
She was a member of Rebekah Lodge, New Ringgold, and Leesport, for over 50 years. She was also a member of the New Ringgold, Fire Co. ladies Auxiliary. She was past President of the Orwigsburg Senior Citizens for many years.
Betty is survived by her two sons William J. Folk, Jr., husband of Vicki and Edward A. Folk, Sr., and his companion Dottie Hardock.
Betty is also survived by her two sisters, Deloris M.M., wife of Norman Stein and Shirley A.P. Hartranft; brother, Edward L.T. Moyer, Jr., husband of Ella.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Edward husband of Tiffany; Jeffery husband of Crystal; William III, husband of Keri and Krista, wife of Paul. Betty’s great grandchildren are Mackenzie, Sophie Lee, Lily Anna, Isabella, Hudson & Chevelle. Numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive her.
A Rebekah Lodge Service will begin at 6:00 PM, Wednesday Evening, October 27th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, followed by visitation until 8:00 PM. There will also be visitation on Thursday morning at 9:00 AM until the Religious service at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Ralph Sanders and Pastor Stacy Gonzalez officiating.
Interment Services will be held in Steigerwalt's Church Cemetery.
