E. Anthony “Ando” Perilli, 77, of Tamaqua, PA died on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Bethlehem, PA. He was the husband of Joanne (Soley) Perilli with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage.Born in Palmerton, PA on May 5, 1944, Ando was a son of the late Antonio and Elizabeth (George) Perilli. A 1962 graduate of Marian High School, he graduated from Stephens Trade School in 1965. Ando had been employed as a construction foreman for PPL and was a member of The Parish of St. John XXIII, Tamaqua. He could be found gardening or sitting on his porch along with his dogs Montana and Loui. Ando especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
In addition to his wife Joanne, he is survived by children, Gracia Perilli of Allentown, PA, Anthony Perilli and his wife Chris of Reading, PA, Elissa Coccio of Tamaqua, Michelina Munion and her husband James of Phoenixville, PA, and Michael Perilli and his wife Ali of Media, PA; grandchildren, Nicholas Perilli, Grace Perilli, Emma Coccio, Anthony Coccio, Mackemey Munion, Mika Munion, Margo Munion, Quinten Perilli, and Elijah Perilli; brother, Joseph Perilli and his wife Ruth of Summit Hill, PA; and sister, Micheline Coleman of Summit Hill.
Ando was predeceased by sister, Rose Perilli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 307 Pine Street, Tamaqua with The Rev. Robert Finlan officiating.
Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown will follow the mass. Call 10-11 AM Saturday in St. John XXIII Parish Hall.

Born in Elmira, NY on June 16, 1954, he was a son of the late James Robert & Elaine (Lairabee) Brown.
Joe was a 1973 graduate of Blue Mountain High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the Auburn VFW.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Brown.
Joe is survived by two sons: Jonathan Brown, husband of Jessica, & James Brown, husband of Helen, all of Auburn; and a daughter, Christina Jalonski, wife of John, of Lavelle, PA; and grandchildren: Hannah & Ava Brown. He is also survived by two sisters: Andrea Rosen, wife of David, of Rochester, NY; & Juelaine Miller, of Adirondacks, NY, and a sister-in-law, Cheryl Brown, Troy, PA.
A Public Viewing will be held at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, from 10 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 AM.
Interment will be privately held.
Born in Los Alamitos, CA, on September 22, 1993, she was a daughter of Ralph A. Perez Sr. and Adonna M. Acuna-Chesko, wife of George T. Chesko III.
She attended Kennedy High School, CA .
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiancee, Thomas Calvin; daughter, Hailie M. Luevanos; sisters: Audrianna O. Acuna, of Frackville and Bridget J. Perez, of Santa Ana, CA; brother: Ralph A. Perez Jr., of FL; grandparents, Ralph O. and Rita V. Acuna; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.

Helen was the owner of Helen Shamus Beauty Salon, Saint Clair, before retiring.
She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Saint Clair.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Shamus, in 2011, and sisters, Nellie Dobek and Emily Salamon.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Tarconish and her husband, Edward, of Barnesville; sister, Teresa Fraser, of Clifton, N.J.; granddaughter, Emily Tarconish and her partner, Omkar Bhat; grandson, Jacob Tarconish; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St., Saint Clair. Monsignor William F. Glosser will officiate. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.

Sophie Doyle, of Minersville, passed away on Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill -- East.
Born in Buck Run, she was a daughter of the late Stiney and Tekla Pudach Kruel. She attended Cass Township schools; and was employed in the local garment industry until retiring.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church of Holy Family Parish, Minersville. She was also a member of both garment unions, ILGWU and ACWA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Doyle, Sr., in 2007; a brother, John Kruel; four sisters, Helen Kruel, Julia Kruel, Anna Malusky and Mary Schimkaitis; a niece, Sharon Melefsky and a nephew, Gregory Kruel.
Sophie is survived by Patricia Chapman (spouse, Joseph), Bethlehem, and Goerge W. Doyle, Jr., Minersville; four sisters, Theresa Oakill, Forestville, Nancy Melefsky, Frackville, Irene Davidovich, Newport, Rhode Island, and Kathryn Kolody, San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Stiney Kruel (spouse, Rita), Pottsville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Dutcavich Funeral Home has charge.

Born Sunday, February 17, 1935 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late John, and Julia (Anglovich) Fadden. Bernadine was also predeceased by; husband, Salvador J. Sposato on February 2, 2021; son, Nicholas Sposato; sister, Jane Hess; brother, Tommy Fadden.
Surviving are; daughters, Diana M. Pfeiffer wife of Brian of Zion Grove, with whom she resided, Mary Beth Paulshock and her husband David of Florida; son, John T. Sposato of Weatherly, grandchildren, Angelo Pfeiffer, Gina Evancho, Olivia Sposato, Jordan Paulshock; great grandchildren, Avery, and Anderson Pfeiffer, Evalina Evancho.
A Weatherly High School graduate, Bernadine was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly. A terrific cook, Bernadine enjoyed tending to her home, and caring for her family.
