Two people were flown after a violent crash on Route 924 in East Union Township on Saturday afternoon.
Around 2:00pm, Saturday, emergency personnel were called to Route 924 in the area of the entrance to Eagle Rock for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
East Union Township Police arrived on scene to find a two vehicle crash with one on fire with two people trapped.
Police were able to put the fire out before fire personnel arrived.
Sheppton Oneida Fire and Hazle Township Fire units arrived on scene to extricate both victims.
Landing zones were setup in Eagle Rock and Humboldt to fly the two victims to area hospital with unknown injuries.
No word as of this posting on what led to the crash.
Shenandoah EMS and paramedics from LVHN assisted at the scene along with Nuremberg Fire at the landing zone.
