A fire destroyed several row homes Thursday evening.
Around 9:30pm, Thursday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the 1000 Block of East Pine Street for a reported house fire.
While en route, fire crews were advised that there were several people fighting in the street and were told to use caution, with State Police called as well.
Police and fire arrived on scene to find heavy flames coming from the front of 1017 East Pine Street spreading to nearby homes.
Fire crews dealt with winds fanning the flames and brought the fire under control in about an hour.
The fire reached a 2nd alarm with a tanker task force called but the tankers were later put on stand by and were not needed.
The fire heavily damaged the homes of 1017, 1015, 1019, and 1021. There was no word how many people were affected or what the cause of the fire was.
One person was seen taken into custody by police and hauled away from the incident.
As of 12:30am, crews were clearing the scene.
