Firefighters responded to a silo fire in Barry Township Friday evening.
Around 9:15pm, Friday, emergency personnel were called to 28 Wehry Lane for a reported barn fire.
As fire personnel arrived as scene, the incident was reported as a silo fire with smoke coming from the structure.
The Lavelle, Gordon, Hegins, Fountain Springs, and Hescherville responded to call.
Firefighters assisted and with the use of thermal imaging camera determined the product inside the silo had be removed with neighbors providing tri-axles to haul away the feed.
Firefighters monitored the feed as it was removed to make sure there was no more fire and cleared the scene after about 2 hours.
