Elks Lodges are community minded organizations that help their communities grow and on Saturday Frackville's helped feed 200 families in time for Thanksgiving.
The Frackville Elks is very active in the borough's community holding numerous events each month to raise money and give back.
On Saturday, the organization gave back annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway.
The event, which was drive-thru, allowed anyone who needed a Thanksgiving Turkey, to stop by the lodge and pick one up.
The Elks Lodge purchased 200 turkeys for the event and within 3 hours, all the Turkeys were gone.
"We are one of the biggest charity organizations in the country and we are here to give back to the community. We are happy to do it" said Exalted Ruler William Cickavage.
Also part of the Saturday's event, a Ham and Bean Soup sale was held.
