A Hegins man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after firing shots in the township last month.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on October 31st, 2021, around 7:18pm, Troopers responded to the 500 Block of East Chesnut Street in Hegins Township.
At the scene, Clayton Bixler, 46, of Hegins was taken into custody after he fired two blank rounds towards a roadway and other homes.
Bixler was arraigned on charges of recklessly endangering another person, propulsion of missiles on roadways and disorderly conduct. He has since been locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000 straight cash bail.
A Preliminary Hearing is scheduled for December 2nd before Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi.
