On Friday night, it was the Williams Valley Vikings taking home the District XI Class A Championship.
The rivalry between Williams Valley and Tri-Valley moved to the neutral grounds of North Schuylkill for both teams to meet for the 2nd time this season for the championship. The Vikings also had something to prove with the Bulldogs handed the team 1 of their 2 losses of the season.
Tri-Valley seemed to have the game under control scoring early in the first and not allowing Williams Valley to score until late in second quarter.
At the half, Williams Valley held a slim lead 8-7.
By the second half, Williams Valley took control of the game and didn't let up. The Vikings would hold the Bulldogs to one final score near the end the game.
Williams Valley would take home the championship winning 28-13.
