John T. "Jack" Gleason
, 79, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

He was born in Branchdale, on Oct. 17, 1942, a son of the late Anna (Rowlands) and John Patrick Gleason.

He was the widower of Mary Ann "Bunnie" (Laughlin) Gleason, who passed away in 2005.

He was a graduate of Cass Township High School and was formerly employed by OMNOVA as a plastic mix machine operator.

He was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Dorothy Kimmel, Joan Scheib and Ellen Frew.

Jack is survived by his children, Robert "Bob" Lilley (Maureen), Easton, Sharon Flail (Shane), Port Carbon and Mariann "Tedda" Eifert (Jim), Pottsville; grandchildren, Brian Tyson (Malorie), Jessica Lilley, Casey Tyson, Conner Eifert (Autumn), Jordan Lilley and Karissa Flail; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona, with family members officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Molly C. Daubert, 94, of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Providence Place in Pottsville.

Born on August 4, 1927 in Swopes Valley, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. Sr. and Mollie Sattizahn Wolfe.

She was a member of the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 69 years, Charles K. Daubert; seven brothers, Mark, Adam, Paul E. Sr., Walter, Robert Jr., Samuel M. Sr., and Daniel Wolfe; four sisters, Eva Wambaugh, Edna Wolfe, Mary Brown and Martha Kutz.

Surviving are two brothers, David Wolfe and Joseph Wolfe, both of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Richard Hoffman officiating. There will be a viewing on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Jacob's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert SPCA, 18 Wertz Dr., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.

Henry W. Sattizahn
, 75, of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at home.

Born on October 7, 1946 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Albert and Anna Miller Sattizahn.

He was a graduate of Pine Grove High School.

Henry was an Army Veteran having served during Vietnam.

He loved farming, hunting and enjoyed working on and fixing lawn mowers.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 49 years, Patricia A. Barr Sattizahn.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan Somers of Pine Grove, Erica and husband Steven FitzSimons of Camp Hill; four grandchildren, Joel, Paige, Abigail, and Caleb; a sister Mary Ellen and husband Lynn Kohr of Pine Grove; a niece Kathy Carl of Pine Grove.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Pine Grove, with SALM John Zeigler officiating. There will be a viewing on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Deborah Lynn Favinger
, 69, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, November 15th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, due to complications of the Covid-19 virus.

Deborah was born in Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA, on September 1, 1952, a daughter of the late James & Lorraine (Holmes) Miller.

She graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1970.

Debbie’s early career started as a security detective at Two Guys then Gee Bee’s Department Store. She was employed as a School Bus Driver for R & J Transportation, in Cressona, for over 40 years. She also volunteered as an EMT with Orwigsburg Ambulancethen a Paramedic in Leesport while also driving the bus.

Debbie was passionate about everything she did. She enjoyed trips to Barnegat Light and Bermuda as well as visiting her parents in Venice, Florida.She loved crafting and decorating her home, feeding the birds and shopping at Hobby Lobby.She was an avid gardener and was happy to share her bounty and jar for the winter. Deb was the “deer whisperer” as she enjoyed having the deer out at her little house in the woods.She loved her cats Itty & Patches. She loved baking & volunteering for the annual fundraiser for Lupus held each year at R & J.We’ll miss her Christmas cookies. Deb loved winter and Christmas time most of all.

She was one of a kind, strong, independent, outspoken, and opinionated. She was loved and will truly be missed.

Deborah is survived by Three daughters, Deena, wife of Christopher Pishock, of Orwigsburg, PA;
Cindy, wife of Thomas Creitz, of Auburn, PA; Jennifer Rust, of Charlotte, NC; Two sons Richard Favinger Jr, husband of Lilia, of Mississippi; Ron Favinger, husband of Becky, of York, PA;
A sister, Lorri, wife of Tony Biamonte, Furlong, PA, A brother, James Miller.

She is also survived by her former spouse Richard E. Favinger Sr., Englewood, FL. As well as grandchildren Amanda Russell, Abbie Spurgeon, Adam Favinger, Michael Favinger, Bella Meza, Lindsay Pellazar, Kayla Cohan, Sebastian Pishock, Taylor Favinger, Logan Creitz, Aidan Creitz, Ryan Favinger, Eliot Favinger, Evan Favinger, and Stella Janeand great grandchildren Dominic, Kylie, Tyson, Laney, Greyson, Ezra, Evie, Wren, Connor, Charlotte, Sloane & Leighton.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hamilton - Breiner

Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, Saturday, November 20th at 7:00 PM. Memorial Gathering will begin at 5:00 PM.

Shirley E. Troutman
, 88, of Tower City, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at Heritage Mill Personal Care Home, Tower City.

Born in Valley View, December 18, 1932, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Annie Lubold Koppenhaver.

Shirley was a retired seamstress working at Bobbie Rogers garment factory for many years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing word searches and crossword puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean H. Troutman, 1987, siblings; Maynard, Beatrice, Dorothy, Betty Josephine, Lloyd Jr., Jean and Peggy.

Surviving are her three children; Elaine Springer (Douglas), North Carolina, Diane Kiyabu, Tower City and David Troutman (Suzy), Virginia. Six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters; Nancy Schadle, Tower City and Anna Mae Zserai, Jonestown, two brothers; Marlin Koppenhaver, Pine Grove and Dean Koppenhaver, Tower City. Nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10:30-11:00 am at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Heritage Mills Personal Care Home, 846 E.
