Firefighters responded to a fire at the Family Dollar in Shenandoah on Friday morning.
Around 10:30am, emergency personnel were called to 640 West Centre Street, in Shenandoah for a commercial fire.
Firefighters from Shenandoah and Mahanoy City responded and found fire blowing out of the HVAC unit on the side of the store.
The unit was shut off and fire extinguished.
Emergency personnel cleared the scene at 11:00am.
