A power outage is being reported in the Minersville area on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 3:00pm, power went out in the Minersville, Heckscherville, and Branch Township areas after a pole fire was reported in the borough.
As of 3:45pm, PPL is reporting 1,873 homes were without power.
Power is expected to be restored by 6:00pm.
The outage is reported to be causing traffic issues due to traffic lights being out.
