William James Thompson, 76, of Pottsville, PA, died on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Pottsville. He was preceded in death by his life partner, Carol Kellett on July 13, 2012.
Born in Pottsville on October 7, 1945, William was a son of the late Frank and Beatrice (nee Wertman) Thompson. A 1963 graduate of Tamaqua High School, he served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a life member of the Middleport American Legion. William was employed as a contract travel agent at both the Tobyhanna Signal Depot and at Indiantown Gap. He was very dedicated to his work and was loved by all his fellow employees. An avid hunter and sportsman, William strived to keep healthy.
He is survived by sisters, Jane Kristoff and her husband Peter of Tuscarora, PA, Joyce Walters and her husband Gil of Mahoning Township, PA, and Geraldine Drum and her husband Milt of Mary D, PA and brother, Daniel Thompson and his wife Nancy of Quakake, PA.
William was also predeceased by brothers, Charles Thompson, Frank Thompson, Dennis Thompson, and Gerald Thompson.
Services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA.
Interment with military honors will follow the services at Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown, PA. Call 6-8 PM on Monday, December 6 and 9-10 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John and Ann Flynn. John was employed as a welder for an elevator manufacturing company in Philadelphia before retiring. John was truly the master of all trades.
John was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a proud member of the Girardville American Legion Post 309, where he served as a past commander and with the honor guard. He was also a member of the Girardville VFW and the Rangers Hose Co., where he served as a volunteer firefighter and fire police lieutenant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Anna Marie Flynn in 2017; a sister, Patricia Adair; a brother, William Flynn; and a grandson Gerard Krug III.
John is survived by his children, Deborah Krug and her husband Gerard; Frank Flynn; Vincent Bomento and his wife Dee; Angela Myers and her husband Samuel; Roseann Capatino and her husband Jim; Antoinette Bomento and Carmen Bomento; his grandchildren: Joseph, Brooke, Erin, Giavonna, Roseann, James, Lauren, Dylan, Holly, Victoria, Alexandra, Roxann, Jonathan, Nicholas and Chenzy; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services with military honors will be held on Monday, December 6th at 2 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Friends are invited to his visitation at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

He was born on May 22, 1978 in New Bedford, MA to the late Wayne and Susan Bois Olejarz.
Chuck was definitely a one of kind person. He loved to fish, play pool, play his x box and spend time with his family and friends. He also loved his sports, loved to cook, have his drinks and rock out.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert J. Caiado.
He is survived by his fiancé Amanda Larkin and his step-daughter Cecelia Larkin, both of Pottsville; his daughter Lexi McCabe, MA; his six sisters: Stephanie Olejarz, NY; Amanda Caiado, Nicole Silvia, Sandra Caiado, Katherine Caiado, Christine Caiado, all of Massachusetts as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Thursday, December 9th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, 501 Washington Street, Frackville.

Antoinette “Tessie” (Radzavage) Dentinger, 92 of Shenandoah passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah on June 14, 1929, she was a daughter of the late George and Domicelle (Dzeven) Radzavage.
She was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.
Tessie was a member of the former St. George’s Church, Shenandoah.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Bennett Dentinger in 1996; one sister, Anna M. Radzavage; and one brother, George Radzavage.
Surviving are her sister, Dolores Bykowsky of Shenandoah; nephews, nieces and their families.
Graveside services with interment in the Old White Church Cemetery, Ringtown will be private at the convenience of the family.

Susan Ann Gontarchick, 74, Pottsville, passed away at home Monday with her family by her side.
Born Sept. 5, 1947, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Elvin and Isabel Lenosky Laudeman.
Susan was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School and worked as a CNA for the Pottsville Hospital and the Warne Clinic.
Susan loved spending time with her family and at the casinos. She especially loved to be with her grandchildren, always in the stands whether it was baseball, basketball, soccer or volleyball, Grammy was there to cheer them on. She also loved being a great-grandmother to her great-granddaughter, Luna.
In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Gontarchick, in 1970.
Susan is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Gontarchick, of Pottsville; daughters, Robin Schweikert, wife of Jim, of Pottsville, Judy Yoast, wife of Jack, of Ambler, Wendy Gontarchick and Paul Kalinock, of Minersville; son, Ronald Gontarchick, husband of Michelle, of Charlotte, N.C. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jared, husband of Samantha, Ryan, Kelly, Caitlyn, Shannon, Jackie and Paulie; her great-granddaughter, Luna; and sister, Judith Ziegler, of Florida; nieces and nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. Family and friends are welcome from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Edward C. Reese, 84 of Schuylkill Haven passed away Wednesday while at Lehigh Valley Hospital E. Norwegian.
Born April 18, 1937, he was the son of the late Clyde and Lillian Jacobs Reese.
Ed was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pottsville where he loved to ring the church bells for services. Ed like to bowl and participated in several leagues throughout the area.
Ed was a store manager for H.L. Green and McCrory Department Store. He loved Christmas and enjoyed decorating the store windows along with his home.
Ed is survived by his cousins; Howard Stott of Edmunds WA, Marilyn Geib of Bethel Park PA, and Bruce Sommers of Lancaster.
A graveside service will be held on Monday on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven at 11:00 A.M. Grabowski Funeral Home is entrusted with the services. Francis was born in Mahanoy City, PA on November 28, 1930, a son of the late Lillian (Yackimovicz) and Francis Davidavage.
He was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He worked at Gilberton Coal Company and also Owned Dover’s Cafe on West Centre St. in Mahanoy City for 60 years.
He was husband of the late Albina Davidavage.
Francis is survived by a son, Paul husband of Lisa, of Bernville, and a son Francis of Harrisburg. He is also survived by grandchildren Frank and Samantha, and great grandchildren Landen, and Carter.
Services are private at the convenience of family.
