Florence A. Rauch, 89, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, December 20th, at Orwigsburg Center.Born in Cressona, on October 25, 1932, a daughter of the late Lillian (Merkle) and Sealon Dress.
She was the widow of Earl D. Rauch, Sr.
She was a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church, Cressona.
She was a graduate of Cressona High School, and was formerly employed by Thermo Dynamics as a bookkeeper.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister Evelyn Perrell.
Florence is survived by her step sons R. Thomas Rauch husband of Patricia, Horsham and Clifford Rauch husband of Sarah, Winter Haven, FL; seven grandchildren; many, many great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at Ebling Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona on Tuesday, December 28 at 11 am with Pastor Joshua Ott officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be held prior from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

John David Wollyung, 57, of Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning at
Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Born in Pottsville, on June 22, 1964 , he was a son of Barbara A. (Fielding) and the late Joseph M. Wollyung, Jr.
He was a 1982 graduate of Nativity BVM High School.
John was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, where he was a member of the building committee.
He was a co-owner of the family business, Rosenberger Plumbing & Heating, since 2001 with his brother, Mike.
John was an avid baseball fan. He especially enjoyed meeting players, and collecting baseball memorabilia and autographs. He enjoyed traveling to MLB spring training and the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. He regularly attended the Reading Fightins, Philadelphia Phillies and Baltimore Orioles games.
His greatest joys were attending his son, Christopher's events, collecting celebrity autographs with him, and spending time with his wife, Marianne.
John was a life-long servant in the Pottsville Community and his absence will be felt by many. His accomplishments and affiliations include being a volunteer for the Pottsville Lions Ambulance since 1980; the Pottsville EMS, the Orwigsburg EMS, and the Schuylkill EMS; and he was also a trained EMT since 1980. John was very devoted to the Yorkville Hose Company, where he served two terms as Assistant Fire Chief and is the current Duty Officer as well as the current President. Through the years he also served as Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, and Fire Trustee.
He is survived by his wife, Marianne (Marzullo) Wollyung, to whom he was married 32 years; a son, Christopher Wollyung, fiance of Rachel Wood, of Pottsville; two brothers, Joseph M. Wollyung II, husband of Suzanne, of Pottsville; and Michael J. Wollyung, companion of Amy Brahler-Miller, of Minersville; nieces and nephews: Andrew, Amanda, Michael, Stephen, and Emma Wollyung; aunts, uncles, and cousins; plus countless friends and his family of first responders in the community.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 913 Mahantongo St., Pottsville with Father David J. Loeper and Msgr. William Glosser as celebrants. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 7th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville and on Saturday morning in church from 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
Interment will follow in St. John #2 Cemetery, Pottsville.

Jon D. Rhen, 60, of Washington St., Tremont, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born on December 15, 1961 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Robert C. Rhen, Sr. and Gloria Bolton.
He was a graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
Jon was a dump truck driver for Bowers Trucking in Pottsville.
He was preceded in death by a half brother, Jeremy Rittenbaugh.
Surviving are his fiancé, Kimberly Mindy Spolski; a son and two grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Jr. and wife Kathy Rhen of Bethel, Jeffrey and wife Brenda Rhen of Pine Grove; two half brothers, Kevin Rittenbaugh and Randy Rittenbaugh, both of Pine Grove; an aunt Carol Ritzman; an uncle Clyde Rhen; nieces, nephews and cousins and his fur baby Bella.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 7:00 P.M., at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Mildred M. "Millie" Curry, 83, of River St., Cressona, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 in Geisinger, St. Luke's in Orwigsburg.
Born on August 29, 1938 in Ashland, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian Miller Wesner.
She was a member of the Pine Grove Wesleyan Church.
Preceding her in death were a grandson Luke Raker; a sister, Faye Wessner and three brothers, John Wesner, Bob Wesner and Ivan Wesner.
Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Joseph Curry; three daughters, Joann and husband Kenneth Reitz, Mary Ann and husband Allen R. Cerullo, Patti Ann and husband Darwin Raker; a son Joseph Curry II; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister Betty Rhoades.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Pine Grove Wesleyan Church, 74 Bethel Rd. Pine Grove with Pastor Earl Hertzog officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Born Saturday, September 3, 1960 in Reading the daughter of Carletta (Williamson) Bartholomew and Gene T. Rhoads.
Surviving are daughters, Hollie Rhoads wife of Timothy Morris of New Ringgold, with whom she resided, Jacquelyn Castaneda, sisters, Michele "Micki" Wisniewski, wife of David, Vicki Rohr wife of Troy, Kelly Moughalian and her husband Soren Pedersen, Brandi Faust wife of S. Joshua; grandchildren, Devin Smith, James, and Brooklyn Morris; step-father, Victor Bartholomew; parallel siblings, Betty Bray and her husband Keith, Victor Rhoads, Sally Snyder. Many nieces and nephews also survive Bobbi.
A half brother, Gene (Tommy) Rhoads predeceased Bobbi.
A Kutztown High School graduate, Bobbi was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, and hunting. Bobbi will also be missed by her beloved dog Jessie. Bobbi spent many years in Florida and had touched many lives with her caring nature and sense of humor.

Born Tuesday, November 6, 1956 in Northampton, the son of the late Claude A. Turton, Jr. who died on May 3, 2019, and Mary Jane (Mazur) Turton who died on September 26, 2020.
Surviving are; his beloved wife of 32 years, Patti A. (Rooney) Turton; sons, Jonathan E. Tewksbury and his wife Nicole of Mary-D, Justin Tewksbury and his wife Janelle of Allentown; sister, Janel Tirpak wife of Tom of Summit Hill; brother, Craig A. Turton of Slatington; grandchildren who affectionately called him pop, Madison, Victoria, Athena, Abby.
A 1974 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Brian worked at Summit Trailer in Auburn for the past 12 years. Previously Brian worked at Tamaqua Truck & Trailer, and Parrish Steel.
Brian was an outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on his cars. An animal lover, the companionship of his dogs Copper, Luna, Stella, and Leo was comforting.

Kathlene J. Reed, 84, of Tower City, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Tower City, January 25, 1937, a daughter of late Anthony and Anna Sherack Lodish. Kathy was a 1956 graduate of the former Porter Twp. High School.
Kathy was a retired Secretary with over 40 years of service at the Williams Valley Elementary School.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel, Tower City.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Reed, 2001; four brothers, John, George, Walter and Joseph Lodish; seven sisters, Sophia, Margaret, and Stella Lodish, Josephine Saylor, Julie Boczar, Helen Richards, and Mary Jacoby.
Surviving are two sons; John Reed, Pottsville and David Reed, Tower City, two sisters; her twin Correne Daub, Tower City and Carol Reiner, Virginia, sister-in-law, Marlene Lodish, Tower City, three grandchildren; Shannon, Brandy and John Jr. and four great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
Following Kathy's wishes there will be no services.

He was the loving husband of Jean M (Romberger) Morgan, with whom he celebrated seventy years of marriage this past September 15th.
He was born on Saturday, March 5, 1932, in Valley View, a son of late Roy Morgan and the late Lillie (Shaffer) Morgan.
Chester worked as a coal miner thirty-eight years in various area coal mines, eventually owning and operating his own mine in Schuylkill County. Most recently he enjoyed working as a custodian at Tri-Valley High School for twenty years before his retirement.
Chester loved to watch sports on television, avidly rooting for the Phillies, 76ers, and the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a classic car buff, racking up quite the model car collection over the years; was once a proud owner of his prized 1955 Crown Victoria and 1963 Galaxy 500.
Above all, his family is what meant the most to him. His bright blue eyes and smile lit up every room he walked into. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be truly missed by his entire family and all who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by three brothers, Clayton Morgan, Ernest Morgan, and Richard Morgan, two sisters, Marian Motter and Beulah Hoy, and a grandson, Christian Morgan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by five children, Debra L Hoagland and her husband Robert of Bridgeville, DE, Craig E Morgan and his wife Shirl of Sacramento, Denise M Scharadin and her husband William of Shillington, Donna J Galemore and her partner Marty Bixler of Carlisle, and Matthew P Morgan of Hummelstown; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Morgan of Millersburg; sister, Alice Erdman of Raleigh, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 12:00 pm, with Rev. Lee Diefenderfer officiating.
A viewing will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.

Linda B. (Kunkel) Folk, of Ashland, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville after a brief illness.
Linda was born on September 22, 1948 to Betty (Hinkle) Kunkel and Ira Kunkel in Hazleton. She attended schools in Branchburg, New Jersey, graduating Somerville High in 1967. Linda married Jack D. Folk on July 25, 1970 in Branchburg. They made their home in Ashland, PA where Linda was a homemaker for most of her life. Linda was an active member of Bethany E.C. Church in Ashland. She was also active in her community, providing rides for anyone who needed them. She enjoyed spending time at the Lot with her family. She and Jack were regulars at May’s in Ashland and made countless friends while eating many meals there. She enjoyed spending time at the Butterfly Farm and helping out as the “hardware sorter” and “supervisor” at the Bloomsburg Fair and Pennsylvania Farm Show exhibits.
She is survived by her husband, Jack D. Folk, Ashland with whom she recently celebrated 51 years of marriage. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Kunkel, of Weatherly, sister Gail Doheny and husband Daniel of Branchburg, NJ and her brother, Keith Kunkel of Flemington, NJ.
Linda is also survived by sister‐in‐law Patricia Folk, Pennsburg. In addition, Linda is survived by countless nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many cousins. Linda loved her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with them and watching the little ones sing and dance.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ira Kunkel, in‐laws Jack F. and Verna B. Folk, brother‐ in‐law Roy L. Folk, sister‐in‐law Jean M. Folk, and brother‐in‐law Todd Folk.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Bethany E.C. Church at 13th and Market Streets, Ashland, PA 17921 with her Pastor Dennis Snyder, officiating.
Jack will receive friends and family from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM with services immediately following. Interment will be at 12 noon at Elan Memorial Cemetery, Bloomsburg.

Raymond A. “Pap” Bosco, 84, of Main Street, Locust Gap, former Lavelle resident, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 22, 2021, surrounded by his family, at his residence. Born in St. Clair, June 12, 1937, he was the son of Anthony and Antoinette Galinsky Bosco. He attended the Saint Clair High School, and was employed as a coal miner at many area mines, later retiring from Schuylkill Products Company, Cressona, after 20 years of employment. Ray enjoyed going to the dirt track races, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved helping “supervising” with the many family projects. Preceding him in death was a brother Eugene.
